Thanks to the @gatesfoundation for organizing the timely side event on "Outsmarting Outbreaks" where we discussed innovation, integration and investment on the sidelines of #WHA78. Decades of progress have dramatically reduced the prevalence of cholera, measles and polio – and we are within striking distance of eradicating polio. Yet today, we are confronted by recurrent outbreaks, fragile health systems, widening health inequities, funding shortfalls, and persistent gender-related barriers that threaten to reverse hard-won gains. It's time to invest in technology to outsmart and outpace these challenges! I was delighted to share a recent innovation by @WHOEMRO supported by CORCAP @NRC_Norway. Powered by artificial intelligence (AI), the "All-Hazard Information Management (AIM)" Toolkit draws on WHO’s global guidance to produce fast, locally adapted emergency preparedness and response tools, cutting preparation time from weeks to just hours. #Partners4Health
