@MaMoMVPY Uhhh… so all the people hitting limits every day constantly is not enough signal for you that we have severe compute shortage, justifying the extreme build out. Honestly even if LLMs plateau they are incredible at the moment and offer extreme productivity gain.

I completely agree - the plateau has been pretty clear for 6-8 months. There really isn't any progress on the core LLM models. Where there is progress is where the models are used and how they are used, and here it is really only Claude that is getting better. But even Claude is not progressing in a straight line - the non-English use of Claude is certainly not getting better. For example, Danish or Icelandic use of Claude is worse today than six months ago. We are clearly in the overfitting stage. The models are not improving anymore, and more and more training content is LLM-generated as more and more available texts out there are fully or partly written with LLMs (we all do it - and I am happy to admit it). But we also know that training LLMs on LLM output will eventually lead to model rot. This seriously limits scaling. There are lots of productivity gains to be had from using LLMs, but it is now nearly 100% about implementation - not about getting better models. The technology itself might very well have stalled.

When autonomous flight becomes part of tourism infrastructure. In Fengshan County, in the city of Hechi, inside China’s Guangxi region, a new type of tourism experience is quietly taking shape. Visitors arriving at the Fengshan Tourist Distribution Center can now book an aerial experience over the spectacular Sanmenhai karst skylight cluster, a rare geological formation where massive natural openings connect underground caverns to the sky. The aircraft used for this experience is the EH216-S, an autonomous passenger #eVTOL developed by EHang. And this is not a demonstration. It is a structured tourism operation. Initial deployment includes six #EH216S aircraft, allowing visitors to observe the skylights, karst peaks and the source of the Panyang River from above. Operations are managed by a local aviation company formed through cooperation between the county’s tourism investment group and EHang. Passengers must book in advance, undergo identification and safety procedures, attend a flight briefing, and follow the same type of structured process seen in traditional aviation experiences. Even more interesting is what comes next. Plans already include expanding the fleet with 20 additional EH216-S aircraft and two larger regional eVTOLs, the #EHang VT-35. The ecosystem is also expected to support pilot training, agricultural drone operations, geological monitoring, and educational programs. What looks like a scenic flight is actually something bigger. A local ecosystem of the low-altitude economy forming in real time. Tourism becomes the entry point. Infrastructure follows. Then new aerial services begin to emerge around it. Autonomous aviation is not arriving all at once. It is appearing city by city, valley by valley, experience by experience. And sometimes, the first sign of that future is simply a visitor looking down through the cockpit window of an autonomous aircraft, watching a landscape from an angle humanity rarely had access to before.
