The problem with putting women in senior positions now, is that a couple of decades of pushing quotas & gender appointments over actual Qualifications, experience & merit, means many make assumptions that these are merely DEI hires. Especially under a left wing government. In the end - even deserving women are unfairly categorised - which has resulted in a massive disservice to those women who actually deserve senior roles. Another example of how wokeism has poisoned fairness and equity and left people & organisations floundering
