In all my years supporting Aberdeen I’ve never attended less games than I have in the last few months. Just completely lost interest

@PostfixKen @JosephWhimster Plus he's just a generally unlikeable character that offers absolutely no inspiration. Of course I'll support the Dons but for the first time probably in my life I just genuinely don't care, there's no joy or excitement factor, a boring, desperate signing that we know will fail.

So far, there is absolutely nothing about Robinson that suggests to me he’s anything other than Goodwin MK2. A single speed dildo that can get the job done under certain conditions but frankly isn’t much use beyond the basics. I hope he’s enough to prevent relegation.

I love the optimism of those who think we’re not in danger of finishing second bottom, but I’m getting Hibs 2014 vibes from this season. Started the campaign in Europe, manager left when comfortably mid table, two wins in their last 18 matches.

They are probably a mid table side, 6th is good, but not some massive success. He’s come in and he’s already raged at the players he’s stuck with

@JosephWhimster @tailso1988 Exactly, we only brought him in when we did because we needed him to win games between now and the end of the season. He doesn’t have any time at all, needs to start winning games now.

@tailso1988 Well, no. He doesn’t have time. He’s got 7 games. And he doesn’t have the luxury of a transfer window. And I’m not convinced, respectfully, that changing our entire methodology for a manager with little proven success is strategically sensible. But I’d be delighted to be wrong.

@JosephWhimster @tailso1988 What methodology is that? The one that has us brought us to the existing mess we're in? If we get relegated it won't be because of Robinson, that'll be down to those running the club and the players. Regardless he'll be here next season.

@Dandys_Mihnn @tailso1988 In our current set up the head coach shouldn’t be the one making all the decisions. Whether you agree with it or not that’s not how the structure is supposed to work.

@tailso1988 Think once we sort of safety the summer recruiting needs to be on point & am not worried in the slightest. But the whole footballing department need to work as one with Robinson being the one making the decisions…st Mirren game is absolutely massive win that & it’s sorted.

@fut_maverick No doubt when we inevitably lose to a St Mirren team with an interim manager the excuse will still be Robinson hasn’t had enough time to get his ideas across to the players.

@fut_maverick There’s absolutely nothing wrong with signing project players, I agree the amount we signed was excessive when we needed first team quality players. But I suspect this dinasour will have us signing useless cloggers from the national league

So is this just his opinion, or a major shift in club transfer policy? Strange time (and way) to announce it if it’s a change. The ‘project’ players aren’t really the problem, it’s been the abysmal performance from the ‘senior’ players at the club.

@ES1903_ Some fans arent wired correctly. A lot of them would rather we signed a bunch of 30 year olds from League 2 because “they know the British game” Also, we supposedly have a set philosophy at this club and in this modern structure the manger doesn’t dictate the transfer strategy.

@pselbs We shouldn’t have to rely on other teams to drip points. If we aren’t able to beat St Mirren and can’t get at least a point off Hibs at home then serious questions need to be asked and in all honesty we deserve to go down
