@rdumont99 Simple, Prov enacted legislation basically stating as long as parties adhered to PHO direction, they can’t be sued. Consequence, no one steps out of line for fear of incurring liability. Yes, I’ve even heard about incurring liability as a result of going beyond min stds.

When pressed, they said they wouldn't change their minds, and that they also had "liability concerns." Strange that they have no liability concerns should their facility have an outbreak causing lasting health damage to children or their families.

Where did this myth about MERV-13 being better than HEPA start? I inquired about donating a HEPA purifier to my kid's educational facility and administration replied no. Reason cited: "HVAC already has MERV-13 and MERV-13 is better than HEPA" 🤦‍♂️

@CindyDalglish @richardzussman @bcndp There is a lack of sincerity in Appadurai's bid. People who seek to lead a party should at the minimum be interested in campaigning for that party and working alongside their peers. There is nothing there.

One of the issues some long time BC NDP members have is that Anjali Appadurai has never donated to the party. She told me last week she decided to donate her money to specific causes she is passionate about and not directly to the party. #bcpoli

@abigail_staub Finally clearing security, (plane now waiting) attendant laughed at my intention to check my daypack because of the knife, ushered me onboard. In Zurich I had to leave secured space to get to my connecting flight back to Zagreb. Swiss airport staff confiscated my knife.

@abigail_staub Had a Swiss Army knife that I carried for a year backpacking through Africa and on other adventures. While on UN duty in Croatia I visited Egypt and Israel over leave. My cheesy UN ID and the fact I was returning to a war zone set off alarm bells at Ben Gurion….
