Matthew Rutledge, now 64, also known as 'Mr. Wonderful,' taught at Miss Hall’s School for over 30 years. Melissa Fares and Hilary Simon, both now in their 30s, are accusing Rutledge of abusing them. "He began grooming me at 15 years old … and his abuse of me continued for years after I left that campus. After more than two decades, this case is finally in the hands of the criminal justice system," Simon said. Prosecutors initially turned down the charges because the girls were 16 or older, and it was not illegal for teachers to have s*x with students above the age of consent.
