@nathan_stevens Of course! I prefer Office Suite, but most people are on the Google Platform. Office 365 is more sophisticated and handles more complicated jobs, but Google is great for collaboration and getting things done. #edtechchat

@cclark421 @levi_allison42 One of the most challenging parts about teaching my Humanities classes (the source of the emotional labor) is the amount of unlearning that has to be done about classroom culture, grades + grading + discussion in order to make it work in the way it needs to work. #FormativeChat

A1 if we value the 4cs we have to get away from grading the product and start giving feedback on the process. I will often give give Ss a rubric or checklist at the start of a unit and ask them to refer to it without. When I Conference it's the first q I ask #formativechat

@ElisaBostwick A1. In math classes, you sometimes have to break "bad" habits of fast equals smart and performance versus understanding. So first, you need to build norms, procedures and skills of small group work that are the foundation of your question. #formativechat

@Rdene915 @LScumpieru This is so difficult in a math class. Until I became comfortable with the silence, I had to ask a question and tell them I would return. Otherwise, I would answer for them and, more importantly, they would not have the space to think. #formativechat
