Rona is right. If the @cityofcalgary wants to keep building a world class city, it can't changes the rules on major music festival operators like @CowboysFestival days before their event. Great acts won't come here with that uncertainty. I hope @JeromyYYC understands that.

“Fifty decibels (the new rule introduced June 15) is often equated to the noise level of a moderate rainfall, home air conditioning or light traffic… Music festivals in other major cities across North America, Vickers said, typically operate at up to 110 or 120 decibels.” Good grief…is this part of the Blue Sky City rebrand or something Calgary?

Come on @JeromyYYC and Calgary Council…let’s not mess up a world renowned Calgary music festival over a few late nights in early July. Surely there’s a better way.

How did a guy with a PhD think he could avoid capital gains tax? I don’t have a PhD and I know that I’d have to pay them if I sold off my assets and moved to another country. Thought people with degrees were smart
