@Maddytx76 Amazing that anyone can either be so stupid, so brainwashed, or so well paid by the "Israel" lobby that they can look at what's going on in the world right now and still blame Muslims. Shame on you.

If the entire world were Muslim they would still terrorize ,attack and kill each other. There is no peace in Islam. It’s a continuous loop of terror.

“After an Israeli-U.S. aggression, I thought, I must not be hearing this right. Then came the French ambassador: “We are here to condemn Iran’s attack on its neighboring states.” Then came the Danish ambassador: “We are here to condemn Iran.” Then the British ambassador. Then the Greek ambassador. All saying the same thing. Even George Orwell could not have made this up. This is the day that Iran was attacked. Only three countries condemned Israel and the United States for that attack: Russia, China, and I believe Somalia, sitting in the seat for the African countries. Only three. I had to ask myself, what is going on here? I’ll tell you what’s going on. Everyone who said that hosts an American military base on their soil. They are not sovereign countries. They dare not speak. They host the U.S. military. They host the CIA. They watch their backs. Bahrain, Greece, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Denmark, Latvia, Colombia, and Panama, nine members of the U.N. Security Council, host U.S. military facilities. Two are called “national,” but with U.S. rights. The other seven are effectively U.S. sovereign military bases. And remember: the United States has a military presence in around 80 countries worldwide. This is how the U.S. empire works. It doesn’t necessarily take territory and put it on the map, though Donald Trump openly longs to do so with Canada. With the rest, it doesn’t need to. It places its military. It embeds its intelligence. And that is enough. Enough for governments not even to speak when a brutal aggression takes place. It makes the world extremely dangerous right now. Because there is no honest discourse.”

We’ve just finished our stand at Manchester Metropolitan University and we’re now heading to Piccadilly Gardens. Thank you so much to my security, including @Fred_cpo, and my cameraman. The police have already tried to shut us down, and on several occasions Fred had to physically defend me from being assaulted.

Sick of hearing about 6% of the population! Muslims! Funny how pre 2019 they had Ramadan in private, didn’t close schools, didn’t stop football matches, didn’t have prayer meetings in Trafalgar Square! So why do they need to do it now????

The fact that the world just accepts them being called "settlers" when they're literally stealing people's homes through violence and destroying their land and property, is so fucking insane In no other place would such horrific actions get such a euphemism
CNN International@cnni

Israeli settlers have increasingly used violence against Palestinians in a bid to drive them from their homes in the occupied West Bank. But sexual assault appears to be a new weapon in these settlers’ arsenal of intimidation, pointing to a troubling new level of violence. cnn.it/4du8vj6

Yet another point about the Gorton & Denton byelection. Out of the several dozen actual conversations I had on doorsteps about issues, precisely two people mentioned issues around gay and/or trans people. Both were elderly white Reform voters. They're the only people who care.

@Ajarncom A good agent - and I have one - is worth their weight in gold. But they're few & far between. Mate of mine is currently on his third visit to CW in a month due to the incompetence of his agent.

Another topic that divides Thai Twitter down the middle - visa agents. For me, they can provide a good service but they're a last resort - to be considered if I am physically unable to go to immigration (and even then I'd probably send a family member) I just hate letting my passport out of my sight. I've always been this way. MT @FPetet My friend has used an agent several times to extend his retirement visa without problems. In December he used the same agent again, but still hasn't received his passport back. He is close to 90 days overstay if they haven't already done the extension. He calls every day, but is met with excuses. "Staff gone home". " hasn't arrived yet.", but no promise on when it will arrive. He is now at his wits end because he is powerless to do anything.

@CraigMurrayOrg LOL, blaming cycle lanes for "endless traffic queues" is one hell of a reach there. Do you think if they removed the cycle lanes the traffic would magically disappear? More effort needs to be made to ban cars from cities, not discourage people from cycling

I have a cycle lane running outside my home. I have cctv on the front of the house. Today I reviewed on fast forward 10am to 11am. Zero cycles passed along the cycle lane. This is not a trendy opinion, but I would rip up almost all Edinburgh's cycle lanes which clog the city and cause pollution from endless traffic queues.

If you’re lucky enough to find something you love doing, do that thing. Carve out the time, push past the apprehension, throw yourself into that space that feels like home to you. Find your flow there, it will feed your soul, every minute you spend on those tasks that call to you is a deep breath of air. The world will put so many things in your way. It will distract you, divert you, send you spinning off some other way. People will doubt you, they won’t understand, their tasks are different, their interests aren’t yours. Let judgement roll off of you and go ever deeper into your passion, uncover one little mystery each day. There’s no path for you besides the one you make, so make a path you want to walk, fight for each step and each time you’ll be one step closer.
