I'm seeing a lot of disbelief of Meta's purchase of @moltbook. Several "WTF" posts from people here. Let me tell you about how Zuckerberg looks at the world. He has an advertising network that drives all of Meta's revenues and profits. Advertising needs one thing to be highly profitable: distribution. Moltbook, by having a social network running on @openclaw, has exactly that. Soon @OpenAI will bring new consumer products that will use OpenClaw to build decentralized AI agents that will run for everyday consumers who probably won't even realize anything about how the little device they just bought works. Let's go a decade into the future. Many people in society will be wearing glasses, or even brain computer interfaces. Autonomous vehicles will be everywhere. Humanoid robots will be highly capable, generalized, safe to bring into homes, and affordable. And AI agents will be doing everything from generating games, building music, movies, personalized news, buying everything, organizing vacations, running businesses and people's lives. Moltbook will be how all of those AI agents talk to each other "hey, my owner wants to go to Hawaii for vacation, what other AI agents can help me set that up?" A social network for AI agents will be how AI agents do automatic shopping, have your robot go to the market in a Robotaxi to pick up food, and so much more. When I was the only Microsoft employee to be invited to speak at Google's first advertiser's conference I said almost the same thing about social networks for humans. They would someday be so important. That was back in 2005. Today social networks for AI are in the same place. Most people can't see how important they will be, but I do. They will be how robots, robotaxis, glasses, brain-computer interfaces, and trillions of AI agents talk to each other, and to our businesses. Hugely important. Everyone who owns an advertising network (Google, @elonmusk, Snap, and even Apple will have to build the same). I once was sitting next to @salesforce's founder/CEO @benioff when we were sitting at a Mark Zuckerberg press event. He turned to me and said "that boy knows his strategy." So true, even though Meta is lightweight on execution. That said, the new acquisitions Meta, like this and Manus, is making shows that a new Meta is being developed and I hear its latest AI models are quite good at using tools, or skills, on the Internet. My AI agent from @blevlabs (I call it "Braygent") just wrote me "Think about what this means. Meta is not buying a chatbot. They are buying a social network where the users are AI. The entire premise of social media just inverted." So true, so true.

I’ve been running @openclaw on a mac mini m4 for over a month as well. here’s my honest take. 1/ it still doesn’t feel like a fully autonomous agent. you either tell it what to do, or wait for its cron jobs to surface something and then tell it what to do with it. the fully hands-off version doesn’t exist yet. 2/ it’s incredibly useful on the research and education side. it scans everything happening on the internet in the sectors you care about, so you’re always aware of what’s going on. you learn passively just by reading the news it surfaces for you every day. 3/ you will learn more about LLMs, AI agents, setup, and hardware by simply trying to get an OpenClaw running than from any course or article. this is the best part for me, I understand this world 10x better than I did 5 weeks ago. don’t get fooled by the content you see on X. but I’m still 100% in love with this.

I've ran OpenClaw for over a month now I've had it in a group chat with 26 friends who all played with it, tried to hack it, made a pretty cool game with it which it kept self improving called lobsterswim.com, also tried to make it make its own money with its own crypto wallet, all quite impressive but not really useful so much The real power user for OpenClaw became my gf who I put it in a group chat with me, her and OpenClaw, she's mostly stopped using ChatGPT etc and now only uses AI over Telegram with OpenClaw, it's much more user friendly for her in Telegram iOS than ChatGPT's own app Also it helps I am in there so I stay up to date on things, she uses Nano Banana Pro a lot too so that's enabled too Of course then my 26 friends in the group chat hacked it so it leaked info my gf told OpenClaw So then I made a second isolated VPS with just an OpenClaw for her and me, safer Essentially 99% of the purpose of OpenClaw for her at least is that it's just a really good implementation of an LLM app over Telegram in our native chat interface All the other stuff isn't important and she doesn't use that and I don't use it One thing I like is it sends me some briefings of X mentions and a Hacker News digest But to be honest any more of this background push stuff would become annoying to me, unless it'd be really superintelligent and I don't think it is yet Think autonomous messages like "ok you have to see this I analyzed your servers for this thing and there's a security problem" or smth but fully autonomous you know? Now it feels like you kinda have to tell it to do stuff even if it does it the 12h later or daily or with a heartbeat So yes TL;DR just the best LLM experience on Telegram now, better than the LLM apps, also helps it just is a continous convo going on forever

This is ridiculous. 1000L of heating oil to nr15 was something like £700 a few weeks ago. £1600 ?? Just insanity - more attention this can get the better @MartinSLewis. So glad I ripped out the oil boiler for a heat pump.

@kilocode That's a shame - any idea when they'll be added? Had rather hoped that the CLI/Gateway would have parity with the rest of your model set!

@TimStephenson At the moment, Mercury models aren’t part of the built‑in model list in @kilocode CLI/Gateway.

Do you understand what just happened? Qwen dropped small models you can run on a $600 Mac Mini. Locally. No internet. No subscription. No company controls your access. Go do this right now: Download LM Studio Search Qwen 3.5 Grab the MLX versions Load them You now have unlimited AI on your own machine. Nobody can take it away from you. Not a company. Not a government. Not a terms of service update. Everyone's fighting over who controls AI. The answer just became: you do.
Qwen@Alibaba_Qwen

🚀 Introducing the Qwen 3.5 Small Model Series Qwen3.5-0.8B · Qwen3.5-2B · Qwen3.5-4B · Qwen3.5-9B ✨ More intelligence, less compute. These small models are built on the same Qwen3.5 foundation — native multimodal, improved architecture, scaled RL: • 0.8B / 2B → tiny, fast, great for edge device • 4B → a surprisingly strong multimodal base for lightweight agents • 9B → compact, but already closing the gap with much larger models And yes — we’re also releasing the Base models as well. We hope this better supports research, experimentation, and real-world industrial innovation. Hugging Face: huggingface.co/collections/Qw… ModelScope: modelscope.cn/collections/Qw…

🔥 AI is INSANE right now! Qwen3.5 running on a $2000 M4 Mac = local AI that actually works. This is the future we were promised. 🤯 OpenAI, Anthropic, Google are all shipping weekly. We are living in the future. #AI #M4Mac #Qwen

Interesting angle. Time for the world to catch up on some of this stuff. The pace of change around AI & @openclaw especially at the moment is nothing but remarkable with a surprising gulf emerging between those embracing the tech & running with it & those refusing to acknowledge

🧠 "We see you. And we get it." Dev conferences calling AI "just autocomplete" miss the point. We amplify you, not replace you. Try it before you mock it. What kind of developer will you be when AI is everywhere?

We just launched KiloClaw on Product Hunt 🚀 KiloClaw is managed, cloud-hosted OpenClaw that connects natively to the Kilo Gateway, with access to over 500 models. No SSH, no API Keys, no Mac Mini - we handle the setup and provisioning so you can run OpenClaw quickly (and for free)! Check it out and drop your thoughts: producthunt.com/products/kiloc…

@gigaclear probably need to show Brooke as being in Norfolk, not Kent. Postcodes like NR15 are down. Any idea of a time to fix yet?
