@LeftyWinter I think 95% of ppl on thw left, support and hope for AOC to become what we all want for her, to be the first woman President. That said, she's not perfect in all ways. You conflate attacks on her as a personal attack, and that's just wrong. You're acting like MAGA.

Call me a cultist, I don't care. I'm unfollowing folks who are suddenly turning sour towards AOC. Annoying the hell outta me today. Done.

I don’t know what it means to say you’re trying to help democrats beat republicans when the only democrat you commit to voting for in the 2028 *general* is AOC. Guys I don’t want to be unfair here but it sounds like Hasan Piker is not actually trying to beat republicans :/
Marco Foster@MarcoFoster_

Hasan Piker on 2028 candidates Rahm Emanuel: “No” Gavin Newsom: “No” JD Vance: “Absolutely no. I will never vote for a Republican, ever” Gretchen Whitmer: “Maybe. She’s to anti-M4A, but more responsive. I’m 50/50” AOC: “Yes” Tucker Carlson: “No” Cory Booker: “No. Absolutely not” Jon Ossoff: “Again, interesting candidate. Maybe” Kamala Harris: “Oh God. No” Pete Buttigieg: “No”

@juliush34 Wrong. We're replacing bad, diet MAGA Democrats with good, pro-working class Democrats.

The online left has spent four years primarying Democrats, losing, and calling it a movement. At some point you have to admit the only thing you're good at is making Republicans' jobs easier.

@LeftyWinter She doesn't have to do anything, you are correct. It is extreme cowardice to not endorse Saikat, her own chief of staff and campaign manager when she first got elected. If she's not willing to be a leader, she shouldn't expect to become President.

For those who need to hear this and those with AOC derangement syndrome.... AOC doesn't have to endorse anybody if she doesn't want to. End of story. You can't force her to endorse folks, that's not how this works, it's her decision and her decision alone.

@hats_for_bats They tried the same thing with Mamdani and look how that worked out. This isn't going to be any different.

"It's nice that they -- Anna Kasparian, Cenk Uygur --nthey finally found a war they didn't like. So I welcome them. You know, I came at, Piers Morgan when he finally came around to the Gaza war being what it is, and, you know, I shouldn't do that. When someone gets on the right side of an issue, I should welcome them, and so I welcome them." - @jimmy_dore

@krystalball @saikatc 100%. I like and support AOC, but she is not immune from criticism despite what some people on the left believe. Her not endorsing @saikatc is just cowardice and lame. Whatever beef she thinks she has with Justice Dems is counter productive and egotistical.

This is an extremely lame gobbledygook answer. Even if AOC has some personal issue with @saikatc, he is clearly the best candidate from a left perspective and that should matter more than whatever her personal grievance is. She also had no problem endorsing several other candidates so none of this response even makes sense.

Me: “Saikat Chakrabarti, your former Chief of Staff, is running to succeed Nancy Pelosi in Congress. You’ve yet to endorse, but are you monitoring the race?” AOC:

This is who @TheDemocrats are humming and hawing about being in the tent for Democracy. He agitatively, welcomingly, wants democracy to die and a communist regime to take its place. Like all the worst communist regimes, its being led by a larping bourgeois male.

@DailyLibber Because the problem is the status quo. Kamala supported Israel's genocide in Gaza in 2024, and supported politics as usual. We want people to actually come to our side. Nobody is saying MTG is right on every issue, but if she's on our side on important issues, take the win!

@chrisbrunet Of course. A US government-funded watch group in Iran estimated there were over 42,000 ARRESTS in Iran. Same outlet reports there were over 7,000 deaths, half of which were armed. The truth is it doesn't come close to the atrocities committed in Gaza by Israel funded by the US
