When you’re working within a system as corrupt as ours, I’d rather have someone principled in there to fight the corruption than to work in it to get omnibus bills passed that are effectually bankrupting our country.
The Republican and Democratic parties are effectively one uniparty. Massie did what he could to highlight the corruption on both sides of the aisle and he did it well.
You should understand that’s THE REASON for all the backlash; he was effective in opening the eyes of the people to what permanent Washington is doing.
