opencode 1.3.0 will no longer autoload the claude max plugin we did our best to convince anthropic to support developer choice but they sent lawyers it's your right to access services however you wish but it is also their right to block whoever they want we can't maintain an official plugin so it's been removed from github and marked deprecated on npm appreciate our partners at openai, github and gitlab who are going the other direction and supporting developer freedom

Since people really want me to say this: "KIMI K2.5" ‼️ Yes, that is the base we started from. And we are following the license through inference partner terms (e.g. Fireworks) I'm thankful for OSS models personally, good for the ecosystem.

Yep, Composer 2 started from an open-source base! We will do full pretraining in the future. Only ~1/4 of the compute spent on the final model came from the base, the rest is from our training. This is why evals are very different. And yes, we are following the license through our inference partner terms.
Fynn@fynnso

was messing with the OpenAI base URL in Cursor and caught this accounts/anysphere/models/kimi-k2p5-rl-0317-s515-fast so composer 2 is just Kimi K2.5 with RL at least rename the model ID

@SebAaltonen to me seems like googling/stackoverflow on overdrive you could always use them to learn, or use them to copypaste code without learning, and this is the same but even more tempting

Reflecting on it all, I stirred up unnecessary pain for @threepointone, and I regret it. He very much didn't deserve that, and the community didn't need it. - He is one of the most welcoming, positive, uplifting people in the JavaScript community - He's a great listener and someone who leaves every room better than he found it - He's always team web rather than team $company I'm sorry Sunil.

@peer_rich I think the goal is the 0,00000...1% upside of getting to the self improving system first and then basicallly the world is yours? I would guess that's on the pitch deck lol

i dont really see the endgame of AI labs hundreds of billions of dollars spent for a SOTA model just for a random open source model to come around and similar benchmarks doest it even matter to be “first” to whatever the goal is? or just surviving long enough i.e. Apple will simply just take what works without burning any cash

@badlogicgames don't they start caring when they have to prompt 10 times for something that still doesn't work? the thing they build isn't working exactly like they want? like these are all ways you do learn even if don't have a baseline for the language

@badlogicgames my only counterargument to your take is, don't the peers you are describing hit problems the ai doesn't solve and in so learn? what I find difficult in your example is they surrender, don't care ever, so I'm assuming they must not be getting results either?

wow Anthropic just published a crazy report on AI replacing your job and er... you might want to look at this: - #1 most at-risk jobs are computer programmers, financial analysts (rip excel bros) and customer service - most at-risk workers are female, white, older and higher paid. - BUT high-risk jobs *aren't* firing employees... they've STOPPED HIRING. biggest victims: college graduates (4X more likely to be fucked) - entry-level hiring has dropped 14% since chatgpt launched (for highest risk jobs) - SAFEST jobs are... bartenders, dishwashers and lifeguards - any manual labour that AI can't automate (yet) this accounts for 30% of the job market. - this was the scariest part: AI models are capable of automating most work TODAY but are prevented because of law and slow company adoption. so its not even a fucking skill issue its an ADOPTION issue. - now its important to understand that the study is based on real world data but also 'theoretical' intelligence. so take it with a pinch of salt. some jobs (manual labor) didn't even meet min. data reqs i applaud anthropic on being so damn transparent - they're literally the company behind claude who will be responsible for these impacts studies like this will help us figure it the hell out. LOT of change coming this year.

@kimmonismus you aren’t though. none of these things are games, none of them have been shipped, people are not playing them, they are twitter demos. if this guy can prompt all these games into existence, why is he selling courses instead of selling games?

When I was a young kid, i remember playing final tantasay tactics on my game boy advance. I loved it. That we are now able to prompt such game feels unreal to me.

Couldn't help it! Had to give GPT 5.4 (High) + /fast mode a try. → Added height terrains to the level → Animation tweens for the jumps Used xHigh to solve a gnarly bug with the controls successfully 💪 This Final Fantasy Tactics-inspired game was completely vibe coded!
