@autisticswana We need to be more intentional in connecting all Palestinian prisoners together. (2/2)

@autisticswana I think they have enough of a follow base to start world-wide campaigns (which we’ve seen and should absolutely support). But there’s no world-wide campaign for one of the little boy’s in jail because his parents both don’t have a social media presence or speak English. (1/2)

If you’re only demanding the freedom of Dr. Abu Safiya, Thiago and/or Saif while ignoring the thousands of Palestinians trapped in Israeli torture dungeons, then you’re no better than an Israeli. Torture does not become acceptable just because it happens to someone less famous.

And it definitely doesn’t become acceptable for resisting your own people’s colonization.

Palestinians: AOC is an enemy to the Palestinian movement because she voted yes to continue arming Israel. Liberals: Palestinians are ungrateful. AOC did enough, she mentioned the ungrateful children of Gaza in her speech.

This broke me. Even just thinking about how many Palestinians in Israel’s torture dungeons will leave to find their families dead or killed. May Allah SWT ease every single prisoners struggles all over the world.

Thiago Ávila was denied the right to attend his mother’s wake. The service took place while he remains held hostage by Israeli occupation forces __ Thiago teve o direito de velar sua mãe negado. O velório aconteceu enquanto ele permanece refém das forças de ocupação israelenses

Yesterday in Jenin (West Bank): Israeli settlers dug up the grave of a Palestinian hours after he was buried, claiming it was too close to their illegal settlement “Tirsala.” Israeli troops later showed up and forced the family to finish digging up their son’s body and rebury him elsewhere. In the video, his family is seen carrying his body away as both settlers and soldiers follow closely behind.

A principled Black woman started my organizing journey after October 7th btw. I had no clue how to organize, I just knew I needed to learn for my people. Nothing but love and respect for her, and all my black comrades who’ve been doing this longer than me!

@mushroomdebt Trust me, I swore after 10/07 I’d NEVER vote for a democrat, and I’ve held true to that promise. But I’m seeing so many people just blindly vote for DSA candidates (which sorry to say, I associate with the democratic party)

@anoosify yes bc you have the most leverage before they're elected. but imo if they did a genocide i just don't think they're ever gonna give anyone free healthcare, affordable housing or inspire any of the progress the "lesser evil" base is looking for

Don’t you think that, especially at the local level, if you tell a politician you won’t vote for them unless they commit to doing XYZ, they’ll be pressured to do it? Genuinely, I don’t see the incentive in voting for the “lesser evil” and then asking them to change afterward

My 1st interaction with @briebriejoy was when she replied to my tweet about Mamdani (maybe of me heckling him) and asked me to elaborate on my views. I made a thread of the moments that disappointed me about his stance on Palestine. Now she’s one of my favorites to listen to!

There probably is a line, I have not found it yet, of what moral depths to which I would stoop to stop Donald Trump. It's pretty low." We debate the alleged pragmatism of liberalism, political violence, & manosphere discourse on the latest Bad Faith. Watch wherever you get your podcasts.

Mfs really want us to recruit Black people into DSA so they can be abused and called subhumans by white people. This org needs a cultural revolution. Sick of this shit. And supposed comrades see this shit going down and just watch. Sick of y’all too.

You went from "But his criticisms of AOC come from doing the actual work on the ground and seeing who truly stands with labor and who folds for power" to "I didn't know Chris scuttled his own union effort" in two tweets. Here's a good place to start learning about who "truly stands with labor." courthousenews.com/wp-content/upl…

Christian smalls truly represents the worst of us and has from day one. The fact he’s crashing out on AOC and people are siding with him speaks to a broad immaturity of our “left-labor movement” and I hope that people reflect on why they are falling for his very obvious grift.

@joewrote @notsyllytyler Not deflecting, I don’t know anything about the union lawsuit or whatever situation you’re talking about. I saw Chris already responded to you about those allegations. I am curious to know if you support AOC’s decision to fund the iron dome

That was the biggest deflection I’ve ever seen. Chris Smalls detailed ALU’s chance at a contract. The union sued to remove him. He has been part of 1 labor drive and it wasn’t even completed. You’re fine to compare them on I/P. But there’s absolutely no question which is better for labor. And you know that, which is why you changed the topic.

@anoosify @notsyllytyler Chris Smalls was sued out of the only union he joined. AOC has near-perfect ratings from every labor organization. As a labor organizer, I can tell you which one is more committed to workers' rights.
