@noio_games Have you tried the new context menu apis might be cool if you could right click anywhere "spawn" and it spawned you there with a raycast 🤔

@apoc_dev This is great for a 1st person game. I was doing that too for the longest time. But for a 3rd person game it was resulting in way too many misfires (that is: immediately fall of a cliff after spawn 😂)

being able to pop into a level at an exact location is so important and so common, you NEED a button for it.

Little side detour, destroyed parts that are hit transfer a portion of the damage to their connected part. This means damage doesn't just get ignored when blocking with a destroyed part.

@apoc_dev Just a tip I learned from an old merc slash historian. Make some silly call signs. Those are usually the dangerous ones.

Temp UI. Added character generation and the ability to hire & fire characters. Names are generated based on culture/ethnicity groups. Available characters to hire expire and new ones appear over time, in the future characters will move between systems.

Starting to build out the campaign UI and bring everything together, going to dump stuff here as I go. Added time & events.

@topotoylabs Technically single pass since I just render the mesh black so I dont need an extra texture😂 I will need to do that if I show objects behind but I dont like how messy it looks.

@apoc_dev If you don't mind me asking, is this a 2-pass render like 1: depth-write and 2: the wires with some depth-bias?

Rewriting the AI local avoidance so it can move through tight spaces better without having to path find. Not perfect but bumps into things less often.

@StoryBehind6969 There will be a wide variety added over time with the end goal of cities but gotta start small 🙏

@apoc_dev The one thing MechWarrior 5 didn't have for me (hint, hint,) is a large enough variety of topology and mission types. If you've seen one valley with trees and a little base on the middle....

Mech videos are back 🥹 Added lil animation for the hit markers to make them pop and added a striped stage for when armor has been stripped off and structure is exposed.

@VektorError The video is cropped, this is what it looks like normally.

@apoc_dev Yooooo Looks good. Only complaint is that lasers are too thick/large in the cockpit view and take up too much of the visual field.

Wireframe update, much cleaner and pixel perfect, also added support for fill patterns. (please dont compress the pic twitter 🙏)
