Earlier today, we signed a Joint Venture Agreement between the Jigawa State Government and Tesni Energy Nigeria Limited and Leda GreenPower Energy Engineering Company to establish a solar panel assembly factory in Jigawa State with a capacity of 100 megawatts per year. This project matters because it fits squarely into our long term development plan. The factory will support our ambition to build a 100 megawatt solar power generation facility in the state. The facility will also manufacture solar powered irrigation pumps and other components that are essential to expanding clean energy use across the state. This is an investment that delivers real value. It will create employment, boost local industries, attract further investment, and cut the cost of deploying solar power by as much as 60 percent. As a government, we are fully committed to meeting our responsibilities under this agreement. Jigawa’s strong solar potential, ongoing power sector reforms, and the domestication of the Electricity Act make this project timely and well considered. We are taking deliberate steps to position Jigawa as a centre for clean energy, local manufacturing, and sustainable economic growth, creating opportunities today while laying the foundation for a stronger future.

How great were the sacrifices made so that we may live today in the shade of Islam, safe and reassured. So increase your prayers and salutations upon the beloved Chosen One may the best of prayers and the most complete peace be upon him.
