You can’t get a haircut online or buy a haircut in Tesco’s. That’s the difference with banking and beer 🤦‍♂️ Any tenuous link to lob a bit of racist shade around. Do you ask how non-Turkish barbers operate and whether they are legitimate? I have multiple barbers in my local town centre. I suspect they are operating because there’s upwards of 20,000 scalps to lop hair off in the area. We know you’re not the sharpest pencil in the drawer but this isn’t rocket science.
Sarah Pochin MP@SarahForRuncorn

There are 5 Turkish barber shops within a short walking distance of each other in Runcorn Old Town. Whilst banks are closing, pubs are disappearing and shops are struggling, Turkish barbers are multiplying, taking over our precious high streets. Why is no one asking questions about how these businesses are operating and whether they’re even legitimate?

Good morning everyone! Some news coverage regarding this skilled worker visa scandal. I saw a few articles on my timeline but still not enough… I appreciate all the DM’s and comments on everyone’s personal observations, experiences and findings. They’re extremely helpful so please keep them coming. Regarding the heatmap - I have deleted a post on my thread as there was a mismatch, but that’s what I want in the end. I want to be challenged for any inaccuracy I might mistakenly post or misinterpret because I want to make this interactive map 101% accurate for when I publish it so feedback is always appreciated. This is not a one person job, we’re all a big community wanting a better future for this country. I will be covering more related topics later today as I did some digging last night. Luke 12:2-3 "For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known. Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have whispered in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops." Have a wonderful Sunday! 🇬🇧 There are 79 vape shops on the Home Office’s public register of licensed visa sponsors. ‘Guardian Vapes Ltd’ in South Shields is licensed to sponsor overseas workers via the ‘Skilled Worker Visa’ route. 🧵1/3

- Birth rate down by a third in 14 years - 1/3 young men living with parents - Net migration up 100x over 25 years - Top 1% paying 26.6% of income tax What are the stats that really explain Britain? And why are Labour ignoring them? Me for @thetimes thetimes.com/comment/column…

You have to ask why successive governments have given work visas to low skilled jobs that British young people should have. Labour’s claims that they are only giving immigration visas to high skilled people but they aren’t … demand they tell you why!!

"Visa Sponsorship License Ready" @Blake_MidBeds @GBNEWS can anyone explain what this means exactly? Why haven't all of these licensees been struck off and their scam migrants deported?
Data Goose 🪿@rosemxmi

someone highlighted this very concerning “black market” type of activity happening with these shops. The user soldbyowner.biz on instagram is marketing these shops as “visa sponsorship license ready”. How can this be allowed? thank you @jehanlive for highlighting this.

This show is now an artefact. It all seems so anachronistic. Their snobbery is so old hat. “The richest man in the world, who is working to send man to Mars, is so stupid he can’t have read the Odyssey hohoho the only Homer he has heard of is Simpson hoho”

729,481 Health and Care Worker visas were issued by the Home Office between 2020 and 2025, peaking at 348,157 in 2023. The bulk of these visas have gone to dependants. Absent any ILR reforms, over half a million of these visa holders become eligible for ILR in 2027 and 2028.

@UKDecline Don't get me wrong. I think everyone who came in via any of these visas should be deported asap.

@UKDecline Yeah, this is what I mean. If you just look at new visa issuances, there are hardly any new ones being issued for this type of business. But, at the same time, there are many thousands still not revoked for pre-existing low skilled businesses.
