Jon Favreau: "When you say Hamas is a thousand times better, do you mean that?"
Hasan Piker: "I do mean it … I would vote for Hamas over Israel every single time.”
@AnthonyDiComo@SteveGelbs@AlbaneseLaura Can you guys please ask what on earth is going on with this plate approach?
Swinging at everything. Almost never seeing more than two or three pitches.
What is going on here?
The Dodgers are playing a video hyping the fact that they took Edwin Diaz from the Mets.
Dave Roberts in the video: "There's a reason Edwin Diaz wanted to come here. He's chasing a ring.
That is quite the troll.
@TalkinBaseball_@amazon you mean the brandon nimmo that couldn't get it done with the bases loaded and the playoffs on the line in the last game of the season against the Reds?
That Nimmo? From 7 months ago?
@AlohaVera12 Really? Enlighten us from your vast experience. Which billionaires aren’t paying their fair share? How much would that be? And exactly how many billionaires are there in NYC?
@aclosmurf@NYCMayor I’m not interested in debating this with someone who isn’t from New York, who I don’t know, and is almost certainly a fucking loser because they call themself “crypto Batman.”
Stop being disingenuous. You people are exhausting.
How could you be so braindead? If you actually read the article, the Comptroller never attributed it to Adams. He even called out Mamdani’s current budget plans negatively. Of course they would put out numbers to support their own claims. Yet there are multiple times where they needed to revise their numbers since their attempts to “tax the rich”. You are literally falling for propaganda. Show me the Claude write-up you are citing where Claude blames Eric Adams.
Together, we are telling a new story of our city. New York belongs to all who live in it, not just a privileged few.
And if we succeed here, surely it can be done elsewhere.
@aclosmurf@NYCMayor He was not. Adams left a deficit the City Comptroller called "the biggest budget gap since the Great Recession." Mamdani's own administration identified $12B in gaps across FY26-27 upon taking office. The NYT headline you're ignoring literally says "$12.6 Billion Budget Gap."
