People are taking stuff out of context and thats not fair. Joe and i were having a convo abt getting off antidepressants prior and this is after that. Joe has been supportive on and off mic abt my well-being, like any friend would, and im grateful. Thanks @joerogan for having me

@spongeanon102 @DDFStrand Strange you’re having such a hard time with this. Human beings have equal worth and dignity. All are born equal in value

@spongeanon102 @DDFStrand Generic superiority means that some people have inherently more value than others. This has nothing to do with ability in the post-fall world.

@spongeanon102 @DDFStrand All humans are dignified beings made in the image of God. All through Adam’s federal headship are fallen and in need of Christ’s imputed righteousness. Each person behaves as an individual, creating difference (this include culture), but that doesn’t erase sin or God’s image

@cfb_ultimate @DDFStrand Please define “genetically superior” and provide an argument for why the image of God precludes whatever “genetically superior” means.

@spongeanon102 @DDFStrand Classical Greeks weren’t genetically superior to other peoples in their period. They created a more developed culture that continues to influence us (unlike their contemporaries), but their inherent value remained the same as fallen image bearers.

@cfb_ultimate @DDFStrand Did Paul’s speech at the Areopagus take place in “the prelapsarian world”? Did classical Greek culture exist before the fall?

@james_d_baird The first point can’t be overlooked. Whose version of the true religion should the state promote? Most American Christians have no qualms with breaking the 2c

@IVMiles If you look at the context, Strange is critiquing Wlofe’s assertion that some prelapsarian ethnic peoples were genetically superior than others

If your Presbyterian pastor doesn't know the difference between ἔθνος and πολιτεία and, like @ZacharyGarris, @GeorgeSayour and @ShawnMathis1972, attacks a theologian correctly rebuking the notion of racial superiority... well, let's be real here. You probably agree with him.

Eschatology Matters
Eschatology Matters@Eschatology22·
If the past few years have taught us anything, its that no matter how serious, impeccable or theological an individual or organization presents itself to be, that is not the measure of their trustworthiness, as the major falls of recent years clearly shows. Men are looking leaders who speak plainly, are willing to make mistakes, and walk in the light. Not in fretting over perfect public image. Dont take me as saying those things don't matter. But its clearly not enough.

@SozzleKnocker @not_our_guy @EvangelicalDW So native Americans needed an individual act for their children to receive citizenship, but people who illegally enter the country don’t? You think that’s what the 14th amendment means?

Birthright citizenship is not in America's Constitution. It's found in an interpretation of a Supreme Court interpretation of the Constitution.
