The proponents of this view have not convinced me that they have thought deeply about its implications in light of the Reformed doctrine of total depravity. It seems more about sentiment—a political-cultural dopamine hit which may create more problems than it solves.

@D00M42 @ReallyOldLife I respect you for seeking to read the source material. Seriously - mad respect. I will only say this for now: most who are against CN are simply against going further in and further up with applying the Scriptures to all of life. I sense that from you. Also, never read Baird.

Hillsdale is downstream from Charlotte. Stop drinking the water, Darryl.

@ReallyOldLife Still waiting for an actual answer, instead of dodging the question!

Darryl doubles down on what has to be his dumbest take ever. Quick, close your eyes, when I say “Christian nationalism,” what’s the first image you get? Joe Friggin Biden… Or… That’s what I thought, pastor Baird’s man (speaking of easy).

@D00M42 @ReallyOldLife You and I have just shown the Founders were riffing off the Bible.

True, but when did Biden minister gospel?

@ReallyOldLife Again, still noting you haven't answered my question.

@D00M42 @ReallyOldLife If only there was some source book already written that we could turn to... (Ahem Romans 13)

At the Democratic National Convention in 1992...Bob Casey Sr., [governor of Pennsylvania] was denied the opportunity to present his minority position against abortion. Since then, ...no pro-lifer has [made] a pro-life case to the party as a whole." commonwealmagazine.org/kirchoff-pro-l…
