@jackiechan63361 @anymanfitness A 500 calorie deficit will lose you 1/2 kg per week independent of your weight and height. If you go lower you will lose slower.
English

@anymanfitness A calorie deficit needs to be considered proportionately like everything else. A short person doesn’t need a 300-400 calorie deficit that a 5’10 person does.

@maroluvsyou @gym_onchain Fat can't literally turn to muscle, but it is possible for new lifters to build muscle and lose fat at the same time, advanced lifters can't.
English

@gym_onchain Is it possible to convert my fats to muscle or I have to burn it first then the muscle
English

@gym_onchain It's possible for new lifters to build muscle on a deficit.

@PeterDiamandis FSD "supervised" is 9x safer, but according to the community tracker, FSD unsupervised would be about 100x more dangerous.

@SawyerMerritt @SpaceX Why is SLS needed at all then? Can't Falcon Heavy or New Glenn launch Orion to earth orbit for a fraction of the cost of SLS?
English

NEWS: NASA is planning a bigger @SpaceX Moon mission role using Starship, in a massive blow to Boeing.
With the new proposal, Boeing's SLS would no longer be used to boost Orion close to the moon. Instead, Starship and Orion would dock in Earth orbit, giving Starship the pivotal role of propelling the capsule to the moon’s orbit, before taking astronauts down to the surface. bloomberg.com/news/articles/…

@MemoFifi @MissJilianne My understanding is Cybertruck doesn't have autopilot, what makes you think it was on autopilot?
English

@MissJilianne It wasn't FSD. It was autopilot...

@MarketPalmer_ $1 million isn't that much anymore, just having a decent house that is paid off gets you there, retiring following the 4% rule means you would need almost $2 million to replace a $100k income, that + your house means you need a $3 million net worth.

@JamesNunanPT @maxlugavere The primary benefit of eating food that still has fiber is that it has more bulk (lower calorie density) making it significantly harder to overeat.
English

@JamesNunanPT @maxlugavere We have been removing fiber from our foods, white bread is just bread without the fiber, white rice is rice without the fiber. Luckily we can go back to eating brown bread and rice without needing a supplement.
English

@hotiiofficial @ericunited1 Calories make you fat.
Protein just makes it harder to overeat. 💪🏾
English

@hotiiofficial Too many calories makes you fat, doesn't matter if it's from fat or carbs or protein.
English

@gregogallagher It's 1g per pound of lean body mass, you have to subtract your fat mass, so if your 20% bodyfat then you need 0.8 g per pound.
English

@DMacinis @roshanthomas According to the data in the FSD community tracker FSD unsupervised would be about 100x less safe than a human driver.
English

@_DoPaa_ @hotiiofficial Try doing heavy RDLs all the way into the deep stretch and then come back to me on that.
English

@hotiiofficial There's no alternative for stretching.
Full ROM can not replace stretching in any way.
English

If you don’t like stretching and still want to avoid stiffness and tight body, always do full ROM in all your workouts.
Full ROM on every rep = less stiffness, better mobility and more gains.
Hotiihotii🔥@hotiiofficial
Big arms, big chest, big legs but you can’t touch your toes Brother, you didn’t build a physique you built a statue Stretch.

@LewisHoldenNZ We need people to use less fuel, cutting the fuel excise encourages people to use more.
English

We're faced with a supply shortage. Cutting fuel excise makes zero sense, we will chew through our remaining stocks faster, and ultimately it's better to cut PT fares and work from home days.
DrRawiriTaonui@rtaonui
Lets get this right. Nicola Willis will not reduce the fuel excise tax to help NZders at the pump because rich households like hers and Chris Luxon don't need that kind of support.

@MarkHepburn20 @MHReddell And how would local refineries get crude oil to refine?
English

@csharpgen @MHReddell You might want to think our current situation thru - at this it’s immaterial if we have a refinery or not. Our overseas contracted refiners have no oil
English

Rather sobering piece on the potential severity of the fuel situation in Australia (esp re diesel).
One would hope it is at least a bit exaggerated, but if not….
(if not then among other things prices for fuel should be much higher now)
open.substack.com/pub/theconcern…
English

@MarkHepburn20 @MHReddell A refinery doesn't help you if you can't get crude oils to refine.
English

Supposedly we have 56 days supply (28 in storage 28 on the water). Immediately forget about the stuff on the water, (it ain’t heading in our direction). Our main suppliers, Singapore and Korea are in force majeure. To believe we’re at a full 28 days storage would be fantasy. NZ is in a state of storage less than Australia as we have no refinery at all, and yet the consequences will be the same (or worse). Meanwhile our PM dances away up in the Pacific

@DeanTTraining That picture looks like it contains a significant amount of calories in the form of oil.

Incase you needed another reminder:
You are not eating enough potatoes
Especially with summer approaching
They are the ULTIMATE weight loss carb
