NEW: Mentally disabled man beaten and robbed by six juveniles in Texas. Darrell Norman Williams was riding his bike when a group of boys approached him and started throwing rocks at him. Williams was then knocked to the ground as the thugs kicked and punched him. "They kicked him all in his head and all in his gut, all of that. They literally took the bottom half of his pants down and ripped them apart," caregiver Diondre Brown said. "They took his bike, they took his shoes." Williams says he said nothing and did nothing to the attackers. Wharton police say the six juveniles, ages 12 to 14, were arrested. They are being charged with aggravated robbery and engaging in organized criminal activity. Infuriating.

🚨🚨 CAPTURED: Another FBI Top Ten Most Wanted Fugitive.   KaShawn Nicola Roper was taken into custody today in Florida. Roper is wanted for her alleged involvement in an August 2020 shooting of two female victims, resulting in the death of one of the women.   On Tuesday, the @FBI formally added Roper to our Ten Most Wanted list after she had been on the run from both state and federal charges for nearly 6 years.   After the FBI’s nationwide announcement adding Roper to the Most Wanted list Tuesday morning, this morning, we received multiple NTOC tips as to her whereabouts – where tipsters reported spotting an individual resembling Roper’s description quickly packing a vehicle with belongings. Partners rapidly coordinated, and using the description of the vehicle in question, our partners conducted a traffic stop and took the subject into custody. Roper has now been booked into the Alachua County jail on her state murder charges.   This is an example of how the FBI’s Ten Most Wanted list is supposed to work: public awareness, information, and quick coordination work between partners.   This is the 8th Top Ten Most Wanted fugitive the FBI and our partners have captured in just over a year – double the number captured during the previous four years combined.   @FBIKansasCity and @FBIJacksonville were instrumental in this case.
