How to actually get the most out of Codex instead of bookmarking another great guide you’ll never open again: We turned this article into an interactive workbench. Before prompting Codex, open the workbench, choose your task type, and check whether you’re using the right Codex capabilities. Built by Codex inside Open Design. If you want the workbench, reply “Open Design” below and I’ll send it to you.

Yes, Obsidian Reader works for X articles and threads using the browser extension. We're also making improvements to the share sheet in Obsidian 1.13 so you'll be able to save more easily directly within the X app.

@Shpigford I used to see word and character counts on the lower right side but they are not visible anymore. Did you remove them?

latest version of clearly.md (2.11.0) has a completely rewritten experimental WYSIWYG preview mode! you get fully-formatted/native markdown on the backend but never actually need to write markdown if you don't want to!

yesterday's release of @karpathy's LLM Wiki system was a huge hit, but folks rightfully wanted to be able to chat with *any* folder, not just a "wiki"...and now that's possible! clearly.md now supports chatting with any folder of docs!

The agency owners who figure out Hermes in the next 90 days are going to look like geniuses in 2027. The problem is most agency owners don't have time to figure out the install, where to start, or what to actually hand it first. So my team built an 83-page playbook that does it for you. Inside: — The 5 daily prompts that turn it into a second brain — Plain English setup for Mac, Linux, and Android — How to lock it down without torching client data — 8 copy-paste workflows across reporting, outreach, sales, and ops — The cron trick that drops token spend by 90% Your competitors are sleeping on this. Comment HERMES and I'll send it.

how to set up hermes agent step by step. built-in memory, 40+ tools, works on your phone, and what to think of hermes vs openclaw: 1. hermes is a personal AI agent that runs in your terminal. think of it like open claw but with built-in memory, 40+ tools out of the box, and 90% cheaper token costs. you install it with one command. 2. the 3 problems with open claw that hermes solves: no memory (you keep repeating yourself), constant gateway restarts, and zero visibility into what you're spending on tokens. 3. hermes remembers everything. every completed task gets saved to memory. it searches through past logs to find solutions. over time it literally gets smarter at your specific workflows. 4. connect it to open router. you see exact costs per model per task. free models rotate weekly. one founder went from $130 every five days on open claw to $10 on hermes. same output. 5. it comes preloaded with skills. apple notes, imessage, find my, browser, web search, image generation, cron jobs. no hunting for plugins. 6. connect it to obsidian so it reads your entire vault. connect it to gstack for your dev environment. create custom skills for your specific workflows. 7. the biggest money saver: have it write code once for recurring tasks. then it runs without burning tokens every time. stop paying an LLM to do the same scrape or report daily. 8. run it on android via telegram. name your agents. talk to them like coworkers. in this episode imran shows you how to set this up. 9. you can run it bare metal, in docker, or serverless on modal. pick your risk level. i begged @imranye to come on @startupideaspod and walk through the full installation live. he made it impossibly clear. if you've heard of Hermes Agent and want the clearest explanation of how to get set up like a pro let me know what you want me to cover on the next ep this is the best personal agent setup video on the internet right now. watch

While we continue to ship improvements to Matter and Halo, our team has started cooking on a third app. The concept is near and dear to my heart and will be our most opinionated product yet. Not quite ready to share more, but will soon. Feel free to drop a comment to follow along.

Just shipped a bunch of new features to @halo_habits: ⇒ X times per week (eg. Sauna 3x per week) ⇒ X times per day (eg. Take medication 2x per day) ⇒ Incrementing (eg. Log 100 pushups in sets of 20) ⇒ Timers (start a timer right from your habit) ⇒ Alarm reminders (break through Do Not Disturb) ⇒ Archiving (stop logging, keep your history) All of these add more flexibility and convenience to core habit tracking without bloating the UI.

@dfalidas @TheCradleMedia Yes, I did indeed. This is just the opening part to try to give the KMT a lift and general charm offensive. The big bit will be actually signing a trade deal, probably with a security component.

Beijing unveils new Taiwan policy steps after opposition leader visit —— China on Sunday announced 10 new incentive measures aimed at Taiwan, including relaxed restrictions on tourism, permission for “healthy” television dramas, and expanded opportunities for food exports, following a visit by Cheng Li-wun, chairwoman of the Kuomintang (KMT), Taiwan’s largest opposition party. The measures, released by the official Xinhua News Agency, include plans to “explore” a regular communication channel between the KMT and China’s Communist Party, the full resumption of cross-strait flights, and allowing residents of Shanghai and Fujian province to travel to Taiwan. China also said it would set up a mechanism to ease inspection requirements for food and fishery exports, but only on the political basis of “opposing Taiwan independence,” according to Xinhua. It added that Taiwanese television dramas, documentaries, and animation will be permitted for broadcast as long as they meet criteria of “correct orientation, healthy content, and high production quality.”

“In the end, wars are contests of endurance. And in modern conflict, endurance is not abstract — it is measured in production lines, supply chains, and the capacity to regenerate.” Yes, now explain to me how we can win this thing.

Western defense strategy still assumes technological superiority ensures victory. In modern conflict—from Ukraine to Iran—outcomes are increasingly shaped by the ability to produce, sustain, and regenerate at scale. My first piece as a Senior Fellow with @cepa: cepa.org/article/new-wa…

@dfalidas Not planned. In my workflow, claude code works best as the orchestrator. The plugin is deeply integrated with Claude's Agent SDK (tool use, MCP servers, streaming, permissions), so supporting another backend would essentially mean building a separate plugin.

X’s in-app browser is cool, but it makes saving links via the share extension a real pain on mobile. (IYKYK.) We’ve solved this with a neat new trick. Now, when you save an X post to @matter that contains a URL, we ask if you want to save the link or the post. TLDR: If you want to save an article linked in a post, just save the post directly from your feed! You can thank @HunterClarke for this clever, "obvious in retrospect" idea.

@SWCrafted @FlightsSlow Η Mogami, στην baseline έκδοση, νομίζω ότι προορίζεται για ASW hunter killer ρόλο από το Γιαπωνέζικο Ναυτικό. Γιατί πιστεύεις ότι δεν κάνει για αντίστοιχο ρόλο σε εμάς; Αν είναι ικανό για τον Ειρηνικό γιατί όχι για την Ανατ. Μεσόγειο;
