@enhauto Subscribed for 49 euro also but I own a HW3 car with EAP and only got traffic light recognition activated 😳 still need to confirm turn signal on highway for taking over other cars… feels like a scam so far and filled a service request to sort this out

If this is true, it’s a no-brainer to be a subscriber. Too bad for those of us who bought it for $12k back in the day, but it’s all good. Would you subscribe at this price?

@teslascope I have a service request ongoing on this because I paid for supervised but got capability which should resolve to supervised once the receiving OTA update

We now have more confirmation that Full Self-Driving (Supervised) in Netherlands is for AI4 vehicles only at this time. This means that HW3 vehicles in the European Union will either have to wait for the release of V14 Lite or a future hardware upgrade to access FSD.

@StephanW_ @teslascope @KRoelandschap @Rustavi I tested it: you can subscribe, and your car will say that it has FSD supervised, but you will not be able to activate real FSD, it will just be Enahnced Autopilot with traffic light and stop sign recognition.

Confirmed: FSD (Supervised) in the Netherlands is only for HW4 at this moment. This has been the general consensus, but good to have it officially confirmed. @teslascope @KRoelandschap @Rustavi

Tesla AI Sr. Staff Engineer says Tesla has implemented a new software based Auto-Wiper system that uses the wiper motor itself as a tactile sensor. Instead of relying solely on the front cameras, the system estimates the physical friction between the rubber wiper blade and the glass by analyzing the motor’s electrical power consumption. The system will also automatically enable the defroster when high friction is detected, such as frost or ice. Additionally, it keeps a long-term friction level average to warn when wiper replacements are necessary due to higher than normal friction. Smart stuff! I suspect this system will get better over time with OTA updates.

Rebranding of autopilot in UI in 2026.8.6? All "autopilot" mentionings are gone, replaced with "Autosteer", "Self Driving", "Navigate on Autosteer", "Safety features" and so on (Whatever feels appropriate). "AI computer" instead of the autopilot ;)

@teslaeurope Awesome news! I'll be ordering a new Tesla this week. Can't wait to pick it up and get FSD running. Do we know if the monthly subscription is launching right away? That way, I can put my lease budget into the car itself rather than dropping a lump sum on the software.

@penadev @DisruptivDecade @KRoelandschap I think you’re confusing the USA with the EU. I also wish approval were faster for my own sake, but looking at the safety perspective and the buggy early releases in the US, it was a wise decision to wait for a more mature version for Europe.

It’s because of exchanges like these between Tesla employees and in this instance the Norwegian 🇳🇴 Road Transport Authorities about applying for approval to start testing FSD v14 No matter how much data Tesla provides and how many times they explain their MO they just keep on getting these responses
