@JonBbC_TechGeek Its interesting that you mention this, since I have also heard varied reports regarding AP (and EAP) on HW3. For me it is really good and I enjoy using it, but for others it seems unusable...
English

This is the same situation for Australia:
FSD will not operate on HW3.
It is fully capable to operate, even in its current state, however, there are some behaviors that are notably bad on *certain* HW3 vehicles.
It is well documented within the Tesla community that some HW3 vehicles, even when they have clear camera views, will drive too slowly or gravitate toward inner road lines.
This is speculated to be a software issue (bug) that has not been fixed and it has resulted in many Tesla HW3 owners in North America abandoning the use of FSD.

We now have more confirmation that Full Self-Driving (Supervised) in Netherlands is for AI4 vehicles only at this time. This means that HW3 vehicles in the European Union will either have to wait for the release of V14 Lite or a future hardware upgrade to access FSD.
English

No, I didn’t ask for a refund.
I subscribed knowing full well that my 2019 HW3 car probably wouldn’t get FSD immediately (or any time soon). Tesla’s subscription terms are pretty clear that FSD is subject to hardware compatibility and regulatory rollout phases, so they’re not actually obligated to deliver it right away on every car.
I took the gamble anyway because I wanted to be in the queue for when HW3 support eventually arrives. Whether that was smart or not… time will tell 😅
English

@xanderwasserman @StephanW_ @teslascope @KRoelandschap @Rustavi So actually Tesla is now into scamming… did you get a refund?
English

Confirmed: FSD (Supervised) in the Netherlands is only for HW4 at this moment. This has been the general consensus, but good to have it officially confirmed.

🚨 WOW! Just had my very first daylight Full Self-Driving ride and it was ABSOLUTELY FLAWLESS! Zero intervention, buttery smooth from start to finish. I’m completely blown away. This is next-level tech. 🤯
Europe and beyond NEED this. FSD is ready!
Huge thanks to @AshokElluswamy, @elonmusk and the entire incredible @Tesla_AI team for pouring your hearts into this. Great work! You’ve made the future real. Thank you, I’m grateful. 🫶❤️

@xanderwasserman @teslascope @KRoelandschap @Rustavi En kan een week duren voordat je de update krijgt hoor ik net van Tesla.

@BosmanIlias @StephanW_ @teslascope @KRoelandschap @Rustavi Autopark is great! But not worth €100/mnd 😅
English

@StephanW_ @xanderwasserman @teslascope @KRoelandschap @Rustavi Ik heb precies hetzelfde het tesla om een refund gevraagd, want betaal nu 100,- voor autopark 😆
Nederlands

@wholemars Agreed. I think realistically we are looking at end Q2 or early Q3 for the US, and then Q1 2027 for Europe (it will need to undergo its own approval).
English

I think they will make it happen, but I always assume everything will be a little late when it comes to self-driving software updates.
Unlike other kinds of software, if it’s not ready you can’t really release it.
Kevin@onxlink
For the HW3 FSD folks like me… We are now in Q2 2026 Will Tesla make it happen? I hope so 😁
English

International support was added in 13 and 14.
This means version 12, the latest hardware 3 version cant run internationally although it can run in some countries like the US and Mexico
Once V14 lite is released this summer, HW3 cars internationally will potentially be able to run FSD

English

@StephanW_ @Rustavi @teslascope @KRoelandschap Tell the support AI that you are in the Netherlands, then it will change its mind and tell you that FSD is not available for your car. I was surprised by this last night when trying for myself.
English

Nederlands

@StephanW_ @teslascope @KRoelandschap @Rustavi I tested it: you can subscribe, and your car will say that it has FSD supervised, but you will not be able to activate real FSD, it will just be Enahnced Autopilot with traffic light and stop sign recognition.
English

Nederlands

@xanderwasserman Any chance you know when HW4 cars but subscribed to FSD after launch would get FSD on their cars?
English

@sjaakklg @teslascope @KRoelandschap @Rustavi The real value comes down to used Teslas having Enhanced Autopilot included. This halves your FSD subscription and purchase cost.
English

@xanderwasserman @teslascope @KRoelandschap @Rustavi You van buy a new model 3 standard cheaper brand new at the moment
English

@xanderwasserman @teslascope @KRoelandschap @Rustavi I was afraid that would be the case, I'm going to sell my 2022 Model 3 and buy a 2024 model 😩
English

@briandstone Someone is out having fun while their robot chauffeurs them around.
