@ntkris @typesfast Do you have this built? Working on something similar and can trade notes. We’re combining first party data with web scraping to build not only more qualified leads but also translating that into scripts for our sales team to use. The final output prioritizes their time daily.

I've used Claude Code to build 20+ projects in the last 6 months. Thousands of new users across them. And I've never written a single line of code. I just dropped a 24-min video with my top 10 tips for non-developers — the exact playbook I use every day to run multiple AI agents that handle work that used to take me a full week. This is the best beginner guide to learning and building with Claude Code out right now. Every tutorial I found assumes you're a developer. This one doesn't. I cover everything from first install to running multi-agent workflows — with live demos and real examples for every single tip. How I set up new projects, how I got Claude to match my writing style, how I automate repeatable workflows with one command, and how I run multiple agents working on different tasks at the same time. I also built a full resource repo to go alongside the video — curated video tutorials, the best skill libraries, plugin directories, MCP server guides, written docs, community links, and a starter CLAUDE.md template you can copy-paste into your first project today. Comment "GUIDE" and I'll send you the full guide with everything you need to learn Claude Code! (make sure we're connected so I can DM you)

“Range” was a powerful book - and I think the concepts @MrFamilyOffice summarizes below are very relevant + true for individuals preparing for small business ownership. Breadth of experience > depth of experience
Mr Family Office@MrFamilyOffice

what's better: specialist or generalist One of my favorite books this year is Range: Why Generalists Triumph in a Specialized World by David Epstein It highlights the value of being a generalist over a specialist Family office leaders should be expert generalists 9 killer quotes from the book: "While early specialization is valuable in certain fields, the most successful people tend to have diverse experiences and cultivate a broad range of skills" "The best forecasters and problem solvers are not specialists with deep expertise in one domain, but those who can make connections across multiple domains" "Generalists often find their path late, and they juggle many interests rather than focusing on one. But they end up excelling because they are forced to be creative and adaptable" "The research shows that people who think outside of one narrow domain solve problems more effectively than those who have spent years drilling into one specific expertise" "In complex and unpredictable environments, breadth of experience is a bigger advantage than depth of expertise" "Generalists thrive in wicked environments, where rules are unclear, feedback is delayed, and problems are multi-faceted. Specialists succeed only in kind learning environments, where patterns repeat and feedback is immediate" "Modern work increasingly rewards those who can navigate and integrate knowledge from different domains, rather than those who simply master a single set of skills" "The most impactful innovations often come from people who have spent time in multiple fields and can combine knowledge in new and unexpected ways" "The ability to take insights from one discipline and apply them creatively in another is what truly drives breakthrough thinking" - - - - - - - - Today's newsletter is about generalists in family offices Join 6,000+ family office people and subscribe for free (link in bio)

This is the best AI-generated movie trailer I have personally done! I am happy to share my latest AI trailer, "BloodSpace," based on a feature film I am currently developing. Make sure you watch til the end! I had to sneak in at least one shot with @runwayml's new last-frame tool. That's the power of these AI films; you can edit them up to release within minutes. I used many different AI tools to bring this vision to life and I can geek out in the notes if anyone is interested. A few top of mind were @runwayml Gen 3, Midjourney 6.1, @Kling_ai, and @LumaLabsAI Dream Machine. I wanted vampires on the moon, and dammit, I got my vampires on the moon! Cheers!

This is “Hardcore 94.” Imagine being a kid growing up in Compton in the 90s. Life is hard enough. Sprinkle in some Zombies and Aliens on top and this is what you got. This is a bit inspired by my childhood love of 90s hip hop and horror and based on a current feature film I’m developing. Main AI tools used were: @runwayml Gen 3 Alpha @LumaLabsAI Dream Machine @midjourney For imagery @Magnific_AI for upscaling And @FilmConvert for color and film grain finishing. Watch my latest AI short now. #genai #aivideo #generativeAI #filmmaking

@MattDRion @SMB_Attorney @SBA_Matthias Feels like a very cheap call option w capped downside and unlimited upside. Would make sure to have confidence in working capital/CAPEX needed post close. Given you’ll have ongoing relationship w seller, seems ok. Would help drive alignment to set you up for success.

Due diligence underway on a trade biz with $300k ebitda for 965k. Forecast $350k ebitda this year. Why is that price okay? 10% down, 90% seller finance at 4%, and no PG - default = previous owner gets it back. @SMB_Attorney and @SBA_Matthias - should I still offer less?

I found a guy on YouTube who asks 60, 70, 80, and 90-year-olds: • Their biggest mistakes • What they used to worry about • One piece of advice for their younger self Wildly enough, they all pretty much mention the same things. Here are my top 7:

Introducing The Rule of X! Finance execs love Rule of 40 for its simplicity, but for many efficient cloud companies, assigning equal weight to growth and profitability is fundamentally flawed! It has caused misguided business decisions. Our take? Even in tight markets, growth should be valued at least 2-3x more than FCF margin. At @BessemerVP, we're introducing The Rule of X -a new metric that more accurately weighs the tradeoff @TechCrunch 📈

No matter how intelligent or capable you may be… If you don't have a sense of urgency, now is the time to start developing it. The world is full of very competent people who honestly intend to do things tomorrow or as soon as they get around to it. Their accomplishments, however, seldom match those of less talented people who are blessed with a sense of the importance of getting started now. The people who make things move in this world share the same sense of urgency. A sense of urgency is not just a subject for discussion, but rather, it is a state of mind that is necessary for success. Choose to have an impact now. The founder of a very successful company was asked, "What it took to succeed." He responded— “The same thing it took to get started: a sense of urgency about getting things done."

@STLChrisH @AustinLinney Publicly praising/recognizing both resourcefulness/speed/bias to action (I.e. “I saw this problem and I solved it” vs “I saw this problem.”). Using examples of speed as “reasons to believe” throughout the rest of the org, showing everyone that we can move fast.
