Look what God has done for me! I can’t even explain the kind of joy I’m feeling today. Both my daughters have been admitted to CBU. I have nothing but gratitude 🙏

This is the motorcade of UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer when heading to his office yesterday - only 3 motorcycles, 2 cars, and 1 police SUV. They all had their function. The UK is a $3.96 trillion economy, while Nigeria is a $252 billion economy, less than 10% of the UK's.✍️

I am just seeing the VIDEO of Remi Tinubu's convoy during her visit to Delta state for a chieftaincy coronation last month. This is crass profligacy. The vain and lavish lifestyle of the Tinubu dynasty is not sustainable for Nigeria! You waste so much but produce nothing!✍️

I visited the Royal Museum for Central Africa near Brussels afew years ago. One of the few things I would fight for is the wall map which shows the Congo, Zambia (part of Rhodesia), Angola was already Angola. Some of the art is frankly questionable and historically inaccurate.

A South African company has signed a deal worth about $150 million to buy 450 electric buses made in Uganda 🇺🇬. This is the Africa we want!.

@BiancoDavinci Stunning! It reminds me of the tiles in my shower at The Gleneagles Townhouse in Edinburgh. One of my favourite hotels in the UK.

I bought this 1796 map of Africa for $165 in New York in 2024. It shows the African kingdoms that existed before colonialism. I can’t work out whether Zambia was part of the Jaga or Catango or Monomatapa kingdoms. This is what we should be teaching our kids in school.

@IanECox I used to subscribe to The Spectator. This is the general tone of the entire publication. I stopped reading it because nothing irritates me more than this superior attitude that has passed its sell by date.

I think one of the most underrated blessings in life is meeting people who genuinely wish you well.

@muloongo @tazmus982 Unfortunately, I think they only included the kingdoms and nationalities they had interacted with, thus they knew their existence. There remains many more nationalities unmentioned. Africa is unlikely to fall to the European domination scheme where one nation absorbs others
