Sy Hersh is one of the most accomplished and important journalists of his generation. Someone who works for "Business Insider," @miajankowicz, has never broken a story of note in her life. This is how she and that site describes Hersh's report on the US blowing up Nord Stream:

Why go to all this trouble and risk a very good relationship with the neighboring countries for money that Norway was already making?! Russia had already proven itself as a bad business partner. EU/Germany didn’t need more convincing.

@Peter2122a @ggreenwald @miajankowicz Norway was doing quite well before this. The price of gas was through the roof as Russia had shut off most of the supply anyways. There was no need to blow it up to profit handsomely.

@ilyamiskov If (Synology + disks cost) / 9.99 / 12 > 5 years I say keep iCloud, if not go for it!

Perhaps getting a Synology NAS and filling it with a few SSDs is not a bad idea after all.

Starting to question whether paying €9.99/month for 2TB of iCloud storage is worth it in the long run. I like the convenience of having all my photos and files with me on all devices in sync at the same time. Perhaps there is a better solution to this?
