@mcnaughthelen1 @SamSeabourn Owhiro Bay has a coffee cart on the Red Rocks walk. But if there's no customers there it's because a seal chased them away.

Was sitting in a deserted cafe, they were playing the worst out of tune, depressed, inde rock ever. Cafe staff having a loud discussion wondering why no custy’s there. I got up and left, couldn’t stand it - first real outing in seven weeks. Jesus wept.

@ponekeben We’ve never said gut KO. Stop spouting rubbish. The only party not credible on housing is your useless party - record of failure speaks for itself.

Combine this with the move to build less housing units by focusing on greenfields over density as well as gutting our biggest single housing builder (Kāinga Ora) and the Nats are simply not credible on housing policy this election.

@_dopaMEAN @Becs @PaulThistoll I do, yeah. She was on here talking about how she always talks weight loss with fat people before anything else. That's dangerous for a bunch of reasons. I almost died because I needed a scan to detect a huge cyst and I got a weight loss plan (different doctor).

@kirsty_johnston I don't give Labour much credit, but making strangulation its own offense was a really good move. It might need more work to see it properly enforced but it is a step in the right direction.

Mark Mitchell says that Labour have failed on family violence however, because they’ve focused on reducing prison numbers rather than jailing perpetrators

If we take away the ability for victims to come forward anonymously, then more will take these secrets to their graves, like many already do. If you truly want more sexual abuse exposed, then you need to meet the victims where they are — not where you want them to be.

We can either side with our family, friends and neighbors who work their behinds off to barely make it, or we can side with the multi billion-dollar corporations who refuse to pay living wages. Which side are you on?

@RebeccaJEmm It's premium and I'm but the last line I can read is 'Councilor Calvert...' and, yeah, if Calvert hates it you know it's going to be good for the city and not just the tiny minority of change adverse, rate shy, landlords she speaks for.

Sigh, the attack line a few councillors are running about the normal process of briefings starting a long term plan. It’s nonsense. Wellington has a lot of big challenges, not enough funding tools, and the economic conditions are hard. There’s no secret. nzherald.co.nz/nz/why-welling…

@ameliarchaeo @COParksWildlife Not only that.... Interpretation meanings: 1. the action of explaining the meaning of something. 2. an explanation or way of explaining. 3. a stylistic representation of a creative work or dramatic role. How do they think to provide this? Instead to use 'interpreter'.

@SachaDylan @hilstace You know how doctors have been crying out for more admin and paperwork. They love that stuff. Sorting out problems with suppliers and doing their own IT support are the things they went to med school for.

I had not spotted this weaselling: "Mr Luxon said that spending on so called frontline health services will increase at the rate of inflation, but not back-office spending." nzdoctor.co.nz/article/undoct… #nzpol

@FacetLacey @DSD_GHS Marburg's been known since the 1960s. If you don't know about it that's likely because it doesn't occur where you live and that's not likely to change. OP is a health agency based on Ghana, where it does occur periodically and this information is probably of use to Ghanaians.

Why does Willis/Luxon refuse to release their Foreign Buyers tax model and costings to prove to voters they are: (1) Rock solid plausible and credible (2) There are no funding holes otherwise GST rise/more borrowing/big deeper spending cuts public service slashes to fund gaps
