@MwesigyeFranks @JanetMuseveni This is Journalism at its best. The question is where is she? Since is a senior public servant. The public is asking for their servant.

English

Daily Monitor, this headline is unnecessarily disrespectful. Mama @JanetMuseveni is not a missing person. She is someone’s wife, someone’s mother, and a senior public servant. If there are questions about her official duties, ask them directly and professionally. ‘Where is Janet?’ sounds more like gossip than journalism. The public’s concern should be whether official duties are being fulfilled, not turning a senior government official into the subject of a tabloid-style headline. Uganda deserves serious journalism, not attention-seeking captions.

🚹 JUNE IS MEN'S MENTAL HEALTH MONTH
Behind many strong faces are silent struggles, unspoken worries, and emotional battles that often go unnoticed.
This month, we remind every man and boy that mental health matters. Strength is not about carrying every burden alone. Strength is knowing when to speak, seek support, and connect with others.
Let's challenge harmful stereotypes, encourage open conversations, and create safe spaces where men can talk about their mental wellbeing without fear of judgment.
📌 Check in on a brother.
📌 Listen without judgment.
📌 Encourage help-seeking.
📌 Remind men that their feelings matter.
Because real strength includes asking for help when you need it.

💙 WHAT MEN WISH PEOPLE UNDERSTOOD ABOUT MENTAL HEALTH
Many men are carrying burdens they rarely talk about.
The pressure to provide.
The expectation to always be strong.
The fear of being judged for showing vulnerability.
Mental health challenges do not discriminate. They affect men of all ages, backgrounds, and professions. Yet too many continue to suffer in silence because they believe they must handle everything on their own.
This Men's Mental Health Month, let's create spaces where men feel safe to speak, seek support, and be heard without judgment.
Take a moment today to check in with a father, brother, husband, son, friend, colleague, or neighbor. A simple conversation can make a meaningful difference.

‼️🚨June is Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month.💁💁💁
Too many men are still suffering in silence.
We’re taught to “man up,” push through, and never show weakness but strength i not pretending everything’s fine. Real strength is knowing when to ask for help.
1 in 8 men will experience depression in their lifetime.
Suicide remains the leading cause of death for men under 50 in many countries.
Yet most men never talk about it.
This month, let’s change that.
✅ Check on your brothers, fathers, sons, and friends even the ones who seem “strong.”
✅ Normalize the conversation.
✅ Remind every man: It’s okay to not be okay.
✅ Seeking help is not weakness it’s courage.
If you’re struggling, you’re not alone.
Reach out. Talk to someone. Get support.

I would say PDM is a good programme with real potential to fight poverty. But false positives where connected or non-poor people take the funds are killing its impact. Fix beneficiary selection and leakages so the money reaches the right hands. True success needs real accountability. #SONA26
