@retsyn
the question is not 'how far?', the question is, 'do you possess the constitution, the depth of faith, to go as far as is needed?'

@SenatorWarnock Can you explain how requiring only citizens are allowed to vote being voter suppression is not admitting that non-citizens are voting?

@BarackObama Insurance costs are through the roof since your dogshit law. Go to hell.

The day the Affordable Care Act passed was one of my proudest moments as president, because it meant that millions of Americans would have access to health care, some for the first time.
The ACA also prevented insurance companies from denying people with pre-existing conditions coverage, allowed young people under the age of 26 to remain on their parents’ plan, expanded Medicaid, and so much more.
But the ACA was always meant to be a first step. We still have to do more to expand access and make health care more affordable for everyone.

For shits and giggles, I decided to see just how hard it would be to replace my birth certificate, Social Security card, AND my marriage license, since Democrats think women are too stupid to figure it out.
Here's how it went:
1. Birth certificate: Contacted the health department of the county where I was born. They OVERNIGHTED a certified copy to me the next day - total cost, $14.
2. SS Card: Contacted Social Security on their site. They asked if I was sure I needed the card, since I 'won't likely be asked for it.' I went ahead and got it - took five business days to arrive - total cost, $0.
3. Marriage License: Went to the 'vital docs' site of the county where we were hitched. Filled everything out online, arrived in three days - total cost, $5.
It cost less than $20 to obtain all three certified/legal documents, and it took less than five business days to receive them. Note: if I had lived where I was born or married, it would have been a day. Tops.
Anyone telling you this is too hard or unfair is lying and hiding the real reason they want to stop Voter ID.
I know you guys knew that already... lol

Well, well, well. 😏
9NEWS is getting a new owner — and Kyle Clark's reign of terror on Republican women may finally be coming to an end. 🎉
Honestly though? I owe Kyle a thank you card. 🙏
Because after 9NEWS spent the entire 2022 governor's race treating me like public enemy number one — the biased coverage, the gotcha interviews, the relentless spin — I got so fired up I launched 𝗥𝗼𝗰𝗸𝘆 𝗠𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗩𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲.
And now? RMV is one of the fastest growing news sources in Colorado. 🚀
Funny how that works.
So thank you, Kyle. Thank you, 9NEWS. You handed us the inspiration on a silver platter and we ran with it. 🐾
Colorado deserves a news source that actually covers ALL Coloradans — not just the ones that fit the liberal narrative.
That's what we built. That's what we're growing every single day.
Nexstar calls itself "the anti-fake news." 👀
Colorado already has one of those, it's called @theRMVoice, but we're happy to have more of that in our beautiful state 🇺🇸

🚨 ATTENTION IDAHO 🚨
Swamp creatures aren’t just a DC problem— they’re all over Boise, too.
The Idaho House passed two of our immigration bills: H700, to make hiring an illegal alien a misdemeanor; and H704, implementing e-verify.
But our State Senate Pro Tem @kelly_a_anthon sent them to the State Affairs Committee, run by a bunch of squish moderates and the place that conservative bills in Idaho go to die.
Under Anthon’s leadership, another bill to combat illegal immigration also died on the Senate side: Our bill requiring local law enforcement to negotiate 287(g) agreements with ICE.
Even now, our bills to audit state agencies for tax dollars spent on illegal aliens and audit the number of refugees that have come to our state remain stuck in the Senate.
Since Anthon chairs a PAC that takes lobbyist money and donates it back to the squish Republicans that he places in committee chairmanships, I guess we shouldn’t be surprised. It’s all happening according to Anthon’s plan.
If you are in Idaho and want to rid our state of illegal immigration, tell Sen. Anthon and the rest of the cheap-labor Republicans to stop blocking good immigration bills.

The Colorado Secretary of State isn't a whiz when it comes to geography. Five active-status Colorado voters (four of whom voted in 2024) have a ballot mailing address country incorrectly listed on the public Colorado voter roll as North Korea rather than South Korea.
(How embarrassing for her!)

They bury the Dad’s full quote at the end of the article. And they REALLY buried the lede.
“Simmons recalled something his son had told him before volunteering for the mission that ended his life.
“He said, ‘Dad, I can’t give you any details, but if civilians knew what we knew, a lot of the criticism [of the war] would cease,” he said.
Simmons came away from Dover with a better impression of the war’s architects than he had when he arrived. Trump teared up and hugged him, evincing warmth and compassion at odds with the president’s public persona, Simmons said. He also credited Trump for looking him “straight in the eye.”
“He extended his condolences father to father and conveyed how difficult it is to make decisions to put the children of other parents in peril,” Simmons said.
As for Hegseth, “When I talked to him, I got the impression that he was torn because he seemed to be a very compassionate man, faced with difficult decisions as it pertains to war,” Simmons said.
“I also let him know that Tyler was my only son. And you could see the emotion on his face. And I think those kinds of things you can’t fake,” he continued.
“I was pleasantly surprised because the perception is they [Trump and Hegseth] don’t care, they’re going to do what they want to do,” he said. “I got to see a different side of them up close and personal.”
