Let me help. I totally support ending the terrible tide of illegal immigration we have seen in this country. I also believe in principled government processes (including the legislative process inside the Idaho State Senate). Some things take patience.

The rumor is correct. Sen. Foreman co-sponsored similar legislation last year and is even a co-sponsor of this year's bill, HB 745, but is now saying he won't give it a hearing. The bill is broadly supported in the Idaho Senate and by the conservative movement, including @AFP_Idaho @taxreformer @Citizens_Idaho @FGAAction @Heritage_Action @IdahoFamilyPC @idahofreedom @IdahoGOP @MtnStatesPolicy @Right2Work and @M4Ltwinfalls. This is my dad ... an Idaho farmer, a faithful conservative, who does NOT employ illegal labor. He has sacrificed and worked hard his whole life to provide for our family. He's not the exception. Call him a 'slave owner' and you lose me.

@kelly_a_anthon Senator, as a first gen of legal immigrants, I hear all the time that all immigration law attempts are racist. I simply know it isn’t true and that it is not applicable. So too is the reference of slave owners. Still certain processes keep a person living in poverty.
