Closed out another week with a strong workout first thing this morning. Can’t stress enough how much of a positive impact waking up early and working out has on your life. That one good habit will breed many others. You’ll make make much better decisions across the board.

Is this what you thought Yellowstone Park was like? Unmoving traffic jams lasting 1-3 hours; rivaling that of suburban areas in big cities. Nowhere to park. Insane prices. Tourists harassing animals, littering, picking flowers, influencers everywhere, sticking their hands in basins and ruining them, no good camping spots left because people use AI programs to snatch up the good ones within milliseconds of the site opening up, and most of your day spent behind Asian tourist busses. The overwhelming amount of tourists have made the park experience unbearable. You used to be able to go there and explore nature peacefully. Now it's worse than Disneyland.

The reality is even more ridiculous than the headline. The whole reason for this bridge is so that a handful of isolated and extremely inbred mountain lions in the Malibu area can breed with normal mountain lions on the other side of the freeway to diversify their genetics. One of these inbred mountain lions killed my dog in my backyard on a college campus in 2022. The National Park Service had a tracking collar on the animal and knew where it was at all times. They didn’t give any warning to the college or anyone else. After this happened, they only admitted it was their animal after a reporter questioned them. The animal was so inbred that its father was also its grandfather, and then it mated with its father/grandfather. Mountain lions are not endangered in California in the slightest. There are actually too many of them in this area, causing them to kill each other over territory. The NPS catches all these animals every few years to replace the batteries in their tracking collars. They could literally just drive them to the other side of the freeway in a pickup. The mountain lion that killed my dog was hit by a car and killed a few months later. What a waste.

@RyanAFournier This was is 2023 which she had already talked about and worked through on her show and was very remorseful for. She was also arrested for it. While I don’t agree with her abusing him at all I do believe people deserve second chances. People can change.

@timpatrick87 @QuisMcGrady If sauce is boss, the meat needs to be tossed. I agree, sauce should compliment the meat. Go to the coastal plain of NC and get BBQ prepared by the folks who consider bbq a religion. Lexington NC is not east NC, its in the western piedmont. Go east of I-95 for authentic.

@joe_torian @QuisMcGrady Tremendous marketing. The best vinegar based bbq I've ever had was Scott's bbq in Hemingway SC. They use just enough to compliment the pork. I'm actually partial to western NC over eastern NC. 12 bones in Asheville beats anything I've had in Lexington.

@timpatrick87 @QuisMcGrady A good dish will spread itself. NC BBQ is well known for a reason. Whole hog, over fire, chopped with a vinegar base sauce.
