@networkrail Fenchurch Street this morning, one escalator out of service and the other going up INTO the station at 8:45am when 99% of passengers are leaving the station. Are your staff stupid? Come on.

@ZiaYusufUK I don't agree with you on this I'm afraid. One of my best friends of 20 plus years has completely opposite political views to my own, but we're still friends. We don't want to go down the road the Americans have. Nothing wrong with having different views but still being civil.

As someone who entered politics 18 months ago, I’ve been shocked at just how pally and cosy politicians from legacy parties are with each other in green rooms. It’s telling. They laugh at how ill informed they think voters are, catch up like all friends, then go on panels and pretend to oppose each other. It’s why nothing changes whether people vote Tory or Labour. They’re globalist, open borders Britain-hating traitors. Which is why they post stuff like this from the BBC, who of course are in the same boat. I find it sickening. They are the establishment. They must be cleared out. Soon, they will be.

The Met Office have modified their raw output so appear to be discounting the more northerly tracking low on the UKMO for Friday. Potential channel low / heavy snow across southern counties Thursday night but still a lot to resolve, i.e track & intensity of the low.

@c2c_Rail How do I report a carriage temperature issue when it's not a single carriage but literally your entire fleet of 720 class trains? The older 357s are always cooler by a long, long way. Do you set different temperatures on the two trains or are the newer ones just a bit crap?

I also lived through it. I was only 7 at the time - but I spent a lot of my childhood in working-class pubs and clubs, listening to and trying to absorb adult conversations. The massive negative impact of that 1976 melt-down on ordinary, hard-working families, trying to make their way - whether they were regular employees or trying to keep a small business on the road - is seared into my consciousness. The economic and human fall-out was enormous - to say nothing of the huge blow dealt to the UK’s reputation overseas ….
