The bathroom is a more logical place for a washing machine than the kitchen. It's already got plumbing, and that's where your dirty clothes end up after a shower. Other countries do it, can't understand why we don't.

Australia has some of the strictest gun control laws in the world, and yet they don’t work. Evil finds a way. You must be able to protect yourself with equal force. Guns save lives.

@anon_opin 1: PLA filament is bio-degradable 2: I'm making very useful things - e.g. vacuum tool adapter, car storage bin, the exact size brush holder, a tooth brush mug for a large tube and my razor, a projector stand, neat craft knife, a TV riser ... absolutely loads of useful stuff.

2% of anything ever made from 3D printers has been useful; the other 98% is plastic rubbish from your Dad's expensive hobby that ends up in a landfill site.

@KocksTony @anon_opin Those Nokia phones didn't do anything compared to smartphones of today. They had an LCD screen and calls and texts. That's it. No constant Internet and a bunch of apps always connected.

@anon_opin I think Apple need to find out who supplied batteries to Nokia and use them in their phones. Those batteries lasted weeks on a full charge.

Apple should not make thinner iPhones. They should go thicker, eliminate the camera bump, and include a bigger battery.

My boss shared a 47 page doc he wrote. I corrected his spelling errors and added the comment "The maximum number of quarters is four" to every mention of "fifth quarter". There were 23 mentions of the idiotic phrase. Yes, I have just accepted a new job elsewhere.
