We’re adding more visibility into where your Claude Code usage goes. Run /usage to see a breakdown of what's driving it: parallel sessions, subagents, cache misses, long context, plus tips to optimize each.

Claude Design is an absolute gamechanger. 90% of my scrappy prototyping now happens here. Fastest and most pleasant way for me to convey an idea to eng (with our design systems baked in). @lennysan it took me a ton of self-restraint to not talk about this on the pod 😅

Introducing Claude Design by Anthropic Labs: make prototypes, slides, and one-pagers by talking to Claude. Powered by Claude Opus 4.7, our most capable vision model. Available in research preview on the Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise plans, rolling out throughout the day.

I'm en route to Singapore and there's a ton of good wifi on Starlux via Taipei, so expect a lot of GStack and GBrain bug fixes and features dropping the next 24 hours

Does anyone know how, following the rollout of Opus 4.7 with 1 million context (which I love) to continue to use Opus 4.6 with 1 million context? Appears you cannot specify it on the CLI. If you ask for Opus 4.6, you get a 200K context window and no way apparently to get what I had at 0700 this morning. @bcherny @trq212 PS. I have my reasons for using Opus 4.6 with 1 million content instead of Opus 4.7 or Sonnet 4.6 with 1 million!

Loving what I am seeing happening with Claude Desktop for Code (is that the right name)? Going in the right direction. Love what /remote-control gives both on the desktop and on mobile. But it seems like it is 3 steps forward, 1 backwards Who thought it made sense to make it impossible to share a file that is not an image in a Claude Desktop for Code chat? I have a markdown file I want to share. Or maybe a PDF. Nope, we won't let you do that. No, go to the CLI and drag and drop it. You just introduced friction. Major friction. @_catwu @trq212 @bcherny See: x.com/AgencyGroupAI/…

Great news - be it policy, bug, or happenstance - that my weekly limit was reset 36 hours early! Yeah! But I have to ask, is the Claude Code for Desktop team talking to developers? Are they talking to the rest of the team? Went to add a PDF and then a Markdown file to a session in Claude Code for Desktop and I was blocked. You cannot add a file to a chat. If you drag and drop, you get hit with this (see screen shot, since I can't inline it). If I try to add a file, I am only allowed to add images. Yet, go over to Claude Desktop Chat and I can add files. Is the person designing and building Calude Code for Desktop a developer? Because it sure doesn't seem like it! @_catwu @bcherny @trq212

I don’t know if it was policy or something else, but it’s good news. My weekly limit use to reset on Saturday at 1900 SGT This morning (Friday), I woke up to see that it reset at 0700 SGT 36 hours ahead of schedule. Bravo! Makes up for the pain of late. Thanks @_catwu @trq212 @bcherny

To say that there were clear limits is disingenuous. Anthropic's terms of service were always murky, and it didn't help that their public statements were ambiguous. When people kept asking for additional clarity, it was radio silence until they made the decision to cut everyone off that used OpenClaw.

As much as I love using Claude Max and ChatGPT Pro, I don't think these all-you-can-use AI subscriptions will last forever. Here's my new deep dive that covers: → Why Anthropic cut off OpenClaw access → How to run local models on your Mac → What I'm seeing on the ground in China 📌 Read now: creatoreconomy.so/p/the-all-you-…

We spent $100k+ to learn humanoids from the ground up, so you don't have to. If you want to focus on the software stack, whether that's adding an agent layer, solving sim2real, or building a teleops platform, you still need a physical robot you can fully control. That's the nature of this field. Humanoid robotics requires hardware-software codesign. You need to understand everything from how actuators work to the limits of the materials. There's no shortcut where you only touch software. You will always be limited by the physical robot if it is not designed to be as customizable as possible. So we built Asimov as an open-source reference design. No one has to settle for closed systems they can't modify or source parts for in days. Asimov is that reference hardware. Buy it as a DIY kit at cost via our website, or source the parts yourself and 3D print the rest. Either way, you own it fully. We want to speed up the widespread adoption of humanoid robots and accelerate the path to true large-scale autonomy. It's the entry point for anyone serious about humanoid robotics. Asimov is your robot. Build with it what you will.

@eckartal lol we spent a lot more than 100k to day. It’s in the millions. But that’s ok. There’s lots done well here. And lots we’ve done differently. Hats off to the Asimov team for making great stuff and open sourcing it

I grew up coveting reading InfoWorld that big print publication made for CIOs. Don’t ask me why a 15 year old was really into a trade magazine for CIOs. Amazing to see my name on an InfoWorld piece in 2026. Look ma, I made it! infoworld.com/article/415513…

Hey, @bcherny and @trq212 have sent you both DMs with a big ask to support what I think will be a big win for Claude Code in Singapore and potentially across APAC! Hope you can help or can connect me with someone who can! Thanks in advance!
