A Democrat committee subchair asked me if I don’t think she should be subchair just because she’s a Democrat. Let me be VERY clear: NO, I don’t. And I’m not afraid to say it. SC has a REPUBLICAN SUPERMAJORITY, yet we’re handing out leadership roles to Democrats. This isn’t how you win. This is how you LOSE a state. Democrats never give Republicans power. They don’t bend, they don’t share, and they sure don’t apologize for it. So why are Republicans in Columbia doing it? Voters didn’t elect us to play nice. They elected us to fight for conservative values, and that starts with actually leading.
