VCs are still actively looking out for good projects , projects looking out for VC (i would say vc:projects ratio is probably 1:5) - investment window is getting tight as we’re prob in the middle of bullrun (or closer to tail end). Most are aware that cliff + vesting period will go well into bear market. 2. Attendees are predominantly asians, quite diff than the crowd you’d typically see in dubai / korea. ~30% crypto penetration among viets (highest in asia imo). 3. GameFi, RWA, DePin, LST - still the same narratives being spun around. Most builders are currently in this space. There is a very clear overcrowding in Telegram specific games tap-to-earn. 4. Side events are bullish af (we’re definitely in a bull) - almost as many as tier1 events like Token2049. Impressive and crowd is also pretty high standards. Exceeded my expectations. 5. General consensus bullrun goes well into Q1-Q2 with peak $btc ~100k, $eth ~8-10k. We tanked 20% from 2 days ago, some expecting this to last till end Q3 or so probably more sideway price action. 6. Memes are still very much in play, but it’s a clear PvP battle out there, dont be someone’s exit liquidity. After losing it all on October 10th, this page is now a travel and food blog. I hope you enjoy my first review of one of my favorites- Din Tai Fung: Cucumber salad- 10/10 The appetizer to rule all appetizers. They might as well call this place “din tai cucumber” because this is the best dish on the menu. So simple but they never cease to impress me every time. The crispness of the fresh Persian cucumbers is complemented by the light and refreshing sauce that is so perfectly balanced it always leaves you wanting more. Chicken Spicy wontons- 9/10 Perfect balance between the soft, chewy noodle and the delicious filling. The spicy sauce and sprinkle of green onions is perfect. The only reason this gets a 9/10 is because it can be tricky to eat with chopsticks (the wontons are slippery af) Sesame noodles- 7/10 Heavy on the peanut and sesame and with a little bit of a kick, these are a solid complement to any meal. Flavor could have a bit more depth, and I’ve noticed the consistency varies on these from visit to visit, but overall a solid staple for anyone who isn’t deathly allergic to peanuts Garlic green beans- 8/10 When you need something with a crunch to complement the noodles and dumplings, the garlic green beans do not disappoint. If you want to add a little spice to your life, try dousing these with some of the spicy sauce from the spicy wonton dish above Black pepper beef tenderloin- 8/10 Always a good add on if you are looking for some protein. Perfectly cooked, juicy portions of beef tenderloin are marinated in a delicious black pepper sauce and complemented with onions, bell peppers, and these cool little mushrooms. Goes well with with the chicken fried rice (which is delicious on its own) that does a great job soaking up all that extra black pepper sauce you’ll have leftover from this dish Chicken fried rice- 10/10 Hands down the best chicken fried rice I’ve had. Can eat this on its own and it’s still fantastic. Not much else to say. Xio Long Bao- 6/10 I know this is what they are known for, but these taste like pretty “average” soup dumplings to me. Not that they’re bad, but when your cucumber salad is good enough to live off of in a bear market, you’d expect these soup dumplings to be out of this world. Unfortunately these are not. Hot and sour soup- 2/10 Don’t get this, I’ve had better at Panda Express (when they used to sell soup). That’s it’s for this review.
