My journey back to Christ started slowly After decades of agnosticism, simple statements on podcasts, radio, and TV captured my curiosity After many years of ridiculing believers, I was being led to belief And then in an instant, God was with me I'll never forget that moment Of all the ways He could reach out and snatch me back He did so with a singer on American Idol And even as I sit here today and watch Roman's performance back again, I realize I never even heard the lyrics It was his energy, his possession of the Holy Spirit at the end of the song As he jumped around on stage, I turned to my mother and said, "God is speaking through that man." It was the first time in my life that I used the word God in full belief I was born into a Christian family and attended church as a child, but this was different This was real This was Truth This was God I was born again in that moment My life has changed in every single possible way since that moment I've faced trials that once crippled me I've conquered demons that once inhabited me I've learned how not to shy away from my failures, but to embrace repentance I've accepted that I'm a sinner and that He is the only path to righteousness I learned to read the Bible daily To pray continuously To maintain a dialog with God To speak openly, loudly, and proudly about my faith To become not just a church goer but a church grower To find pure joy in my trials and tribulations in this life To not merely follow Jesus, but to mirror Him To embrace emulating God in spite of my inadequacies To never fear failure, knowing He will always catch me Pride prevents men from embracing God's command of emulation Jesus showed us the way He showed us how hard it will be He showed us how to face the challenge He gave us the blueprint for grace, mercy, and justice And He died for us so that our failure to meet those standards would not prevent an eternal relationship with Him To my brothers and sisters in Christ, I implore you to preach with the vigor of Roman Collins To those of you on your journey to Christ, continue embracing that little voice leading you to the Light To those of you rejecting Him, I pray that you accept His mercy Thank you, Roman, for being an unabashed messenger of God Thank you God for never turning Your back on me May every prodigal son and daughter return, Amen. And speaking of those lyrics, they couldn't be more powerful: Never would have made it Never could have made it, without You I would have lost it all But now I see how You were there for me And I can say I'm stronger, I'm wiser I'm better, much better When I look back over all You brought me through I can see that You were the one I held on to I would have lost my mind a long time ago If it had not been for You I made it through my storm And my test because You were there To carry me through my mess I can stand here and tell You I made it I would have gave up But You were right there Somebody just need to testify to someone next to 'em When I look back over what He brought me through I realize I made it because I had You to hold on to Is there anybody in this house other than me that can Declare that you made it? Tell your neighbor I wish I had some help here I wish I had just two or three people That would just declare it Never would have made it Never could have made it, without You I just love to encourage myself Sometimes I just look in the mirror and say I am stronger I am wiser I am better, so much better When I look back over what He brought me through I realize I made it because I had You to hold on to But I never would have made it I never could have made it without You Oh I, good God almighty Never would have made it without You Sing it one more time All I need is it one more time Everybody sing with me Never would have made it Never could have made it without You

This may be a dumb question but I’ll ask it here anyways: I can’t find a good way for my various AI chats to automatically sync its conversation history into a structured knowledge base. So that as I update various chats from time to time and refine context, my knowledge base automatically grows with this new info.

Gauss meets real life. Also - Notice how people lifting 95 already say, “Fuck it, let’s do 100” - so there’s a discontinuity point. Mathematical theory faces reality.

Today, we're announcing Heaviside, our foundation model for electromagnetism. Trained on tens of millions of designs and over 20 years of proprietary simulation data, Heaviside predicts electromagnetic behavior from geometry in 13ms, which is 800,000x faster than a commercial solver. Heaviside is not a language model, and it’s not a surrogate model. Heaviside marks a new class of foundation model for physics which understands the fundamental relationships between materials, the geometries and the electromagnetic fields they generate. We’re releasing a research preview of Heaviside in Atlas RF Studio, an interactive agentic sandbox where you describe the EM behavior you want and the model generates the physical structure that produces it. @arenaphysica , we believe the implications of this class of model extend well beyond RF, as the frontier of exquisite hardware is electromagnetically-governed: wireless communication, radar, power delivery, high-speed computing, and the interconnects inside every chip on earth. In the months ahead, we’re excited to scale up Heaviside to broader frequency ranges, design spaces, and to support silicon-level designs, and deploy it with our closest partners and collaborators in service of their biggest design challenges. If you’ve read our thesis, this is just Step 2 in our pursuit of electromagnetic superintelligence. Read the full announcement and try Atlas RF Studio…tell us what you think: arenaphysica.com/publications/r…

I was exposed to pornography at 11 years old. What resulted from that corrupt filth wasn’t just the death of my childhood innocence, but an exposure to the perverse ideal of what God actually intended for intimacy. Sex was portrayed not as what you could offer someone, but what you could TAKE from them. The sacred nature of private and exclusive intimacy was replaced with the an unhealthy appetite for endless encounters and the adrenaline rush of conquest. Take. Use. Discard. Repeat. Beyond the safe constraints of any commitment at all, was a never ending pursuit of gratification of the flesh and selfish ambition. Love became lust, and lust is never satisfied. “How much is enough?” someone once asked John D. Rockefeller. “More.” He responded. “More is enough.” Over the course of the next twenty years, pornography, film and television, music and the culture entirely would train myself and an entire generation of young men to view women not as something to be pursued and nourished, but as objects of desire meant to be exploited. The pain and destruction that this subconscious ideal created in my adult relationships was catastrophic, and even now I find myself asking God, “why?” Why was I thrown into the fight of my life before I was even old enough to swing back? Why allow an innocent child to be exposed to such horrific and satanic content that would cause so much pain? I know you feel the same way. Feels like you were setup to lose, doesn’t it? I feel very strongly about what I am about to share with you next as I feel it has been impressed upon my heart, so please listen. Why? Because your salvation is in the struggle. "This command I received from my Father" is repeated more times in the New Testament than I can count. “The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do” is more than just a spiritual feel-good quote; it is the foundation to everything Christ does. From the “Father forgive them” to “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit” there is nothing that Jesus does apart from the Father or His will. “I and my Father are one.” If Jesus was that dependant on the Father, what makes you think you can do life any other way? You are in the most violent war of the soul known to man. I’m not going to tell you to get an accountability partner, you’ll just lie to them. I’m not going to tell you to get internet software, you’ll just find a way around it. I certainly won’t tell you to discipline yourself because the same snare that trapped many of the bravest warriors and wisest kings of biblical history will do the same to you. I only want you to understand one thing. If your salvation is in the struggle, then the purpose is to draw you closer to the Father. That’s it. That is the purpose of not just the battle you find yourself in, not just the reason for God allowing such difficulties and pain into your life, but the purpose of your life on this earth entirely. In the combat of the soul, in the strife of this war - you are being refined. The reason our Lord has placed you through the fire is the same reason a smith puts silver into the forge. And do you, Christian, know when that silver has become refined to the point that it can be poured into a cast? When the Master can look upon it and see His reflection. Now you understand the purpose and importance of this war of the soul. You can’t defeat the devil with self discipline, you can’t hide from the daily exposure at the gym, at the mall, on social media and at the touch of a few letters on your keyboard at any moment of the day. The demon of lust is waiting for you around every corner; ambush set, ready to fire - and there is no ten step program or pastor in this world who can save you. There is only one person who can save you. The Father. He's the only one who ever could. Now do as Jesus did, and draw close to Him. I mean DESPERATELY close. Start the day on your knees in prayer. “Pray unceasingly” as the Apostle Paul says. General “Stonewall” Jackson, when speaking of his prayer life said that, “I have so fixed the habit in my own mind that I never raise a glass of water to my lips without lifting my heart to God in thanks and prayer for the water of life then when we take our meals, there is the grace. Whenever I drop a letter at the post office, I send a petition along with it for Gods blessing upon its mission and for the person to whom it is sent. When I break the seal of a letter just received, I stop and ask God to prepare me for its contents and make it a messenger of good. When I go to my classroom and await the arrangement of my cadets and their places, that is my time to intercede with God for them and so in every act of the day, I have made the practice habitual.” When he was then asked if he ever forgot to do this, he responded “I can hardly say that I do, the habit has become almost as fixed as to breathe.” This is what it means to draw close to the Father, my brothers in Christ. This is what victory looks like. To have victory in this theatre of war means to have victory in your sexuality, in your marriage or relationship and ultimately in your mental well-being. Defeat means the absolute destruction of all those things and ultimately the destruction of your very soul. Defeat in this means the failing of your marriage, the broken heart of your spouse and the insecurity and despair of your children enduring the pain of a broken home. Your wife, your fiancé, or your girlfriend is depending on you to fight for her. Your children need you to fight for them. Your entire culture and nation needs you to fight for them. You have to love what you’re fighting for, more than the temptation. You have to love God more than the sin and temptation that lures you. Near the end of the movie Fury there is a powerful scene with one of my favourite verses from the second chapter of first John that sums this up better than I ever could, so I'll share it with you now. “Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them. For everything in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—comes not from the Father but from the world. The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever.” I started this with the question of "why" God allowed pain into our lives, but I want you to know that one day you will be thankful for the very same pain you once used to question God's goodness or even His very existence - for it is the thing that will draw you closer to Him. In the poem A Sleep of Prisoners, there is a profound truth that speaks to the nature of our struggle. "Thank God our time is now when wrong Comes up to face us everywhere, Never to leave us till we take The longest stride of soul we ever took." Ever pain, heartache, temptation and trial points you straight back to the Father. That longest stride of soul is the step you take back to Him. My brothers in Christ, there is victory to be had and it’s yours for the taking. Draw close to the Father.

Some of you think you possess the mental fortitude to fight your own government in protracted irregular warfare, but you can’t even beat your own pornography addiction. This is a threat. Listen to me when I say this: any shame or guilt you feel about your past failures, I cast that off in the name of Jesus our Lord. Of course you failed and continue to fail despite your best efforts. You’ve found yourself in the most violent war of the soul known to man, without any of the proper equipment or training to see you through. Your salvation is in the struggle. Listen, brothers. Your salvation is in the struggle. The process IS the purpose. In the combat of the soul, in the strife of this war - you are being refined. The reason our Lord has placed you through the fire is the same reason a smith puts silver into the forge. And do you, Christian, know when that silver has become refined to the point that it can be poured into a cast? When the master can look upon it and see his reflection clearly. Now you understand the purpose and importance of this war of the soul. Even still, the battle rages on. You are bombarded with hyper-sexuality from every side of culture and media. It’s in your face at the gym, at the mall, on social media and at the tips of your fingers at any moment of the day. It’s waiting for you around every corner; ambush set, ready to fire. And yet the modern pulpit either ignores the issue entirely or is ultimately incapable of giving you proper battle plans for the most important fight of your life. Your entire culture and society needs you to fight for them. And that right there is how you achieve victory. You have to love what you’re fighting for, more than the temptation. Read that line over and over again. You have to love your family, your wife, your kids, your purity, your people, your culture and love the Lord your God more than you love the gratification of sinful pleasure. Sacrifice the temporary for the permanent. Now you understand what you’re fighting for. Yet there is still one more lesson from the scriptures we must learn if we are to fight the good fight. It’s in the despair of Judas and the redemption of Peter. Both men rejected Christ. Though they walked closely with Him for years and all professed at the last supper to never betray Him, both Judas and Peter failed their Lord. Judas betrayed him for 30 pieces of silver. Peter denied Christ before men, very explicitly on three separate occasions in single one night. Both men felt immense remorse for what they had done; a seemingly unforgivable sin. Judas fell into despair and killed himself. But Peter repented. He humbled himself, repented of his ways and was restored by the Lord. I need you to understand something. You will fail. You are up against a billion dollar industry and literal demons that are eons old. You will absolutely fail. But here is your final key to victory. Do not fall into despair. Always come back home. “So he got up and went to his father. “But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him.”” (Luke 15:20 NIV) Prodigal son, your heavenly father is waiting with arms outstretched, running towards you the moment you come back to him. Do not fall into despair and become utterly defeated and sink further into your sins. There is always forgiveness for you. The price of everything you have done and will ever do has already been paid in full at the cross. And you, Christian, hear now the words of Moses. "This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live.” Your salvation is in the struggle. You have to love what you’re fighting for, more than the temptation. Do not fall into despair. Always come back home. Now dig in, stack up and fix bayonets.

Best money I've ever spent as a CEO... an internal AI transformation hire. Here’s how we hire AI operators at Contrarian Thinking (steal this): 1. Find them The people you want live on X. Search "build in public AI," "n8n," "Claude workflows." Look for demos, shipped work, people building for fun on weekends. They probably don't call themselves AI operators. Maybe they’re a Chief of Staff. Whatever. But AI problem-solving is what they actually do. Avoid AI enthusiasts with nothing to show for it. When you find a good one, DM them. Don't say "we have a role open." Say: "I saw what you built. Want to do that inside a real business?" 2. Vet them We hire based on proof. Our President Marc now asks every candidate (regardless of role) what they're currently building with AI. Doesn't need to be impressive, but it should be intentional. If they make it through, we run a simple evaluation like this: 1. Loom intro: show what you've built 2. Work sample: solve a real problem 3. Live iteration: improve it on the fly Watch for speed, communication, ease of shipping. Can't ship under light pressure? Won't ship inside your business. 3. Deploy them right Most companies hire someone like this and immediately tether them to one department. That would be an F-minus move. Let them work across the whole business. Audit. Design systems. Ship. Then have them run an internal AI hackathon. 4 hours. One leader. One brief, fun presentation to get everyone seeing the larger picture - then let the team loose. We did this recently. The awakening across our team was one of the highest ROI things we've ever run. tl;dr Don't think about who you can replace with AI - use it to create more builders inside your org. Employees need to become builders, not button-clickers.

There is no "one big winner" in the enterprise "claw" space. There are millions of big winners. Autonomous agents, and all of the infra necessary for them to operate, are going to proliferate like wildfire. Those who understand the intricacies of the antiquated systems being replaced are sitting on latent gold mines.

@JasonrShuman The buy-vs-build market here is just finding its footing. Many companies start with "teach us how to do this" and quickly shift to "build this for us." The market is ripe for both fishmongers and fishing instructors.

Yes, you can only afford to hire people who use AI but we must define what that means. - Unacceptable: "I love using ChatGPT." - Capable: someone who is using Claude Cowork or Claude Skills. - Adaptive: someone who is using Claude code - Transformative: someone who is building end-to-end workflows (perhaps using one of the Claws) If you fail to define this clearly, you will end up hiring bozos.

Jensen Huang just told every college student on Earth the one thing that determines whether they get hired. It is not their GPA. It is not their degree. It is not their internship. Huang: “If I have a choice between two, I would hire the one who’s expert in using AI.” He did not say prefer. He said hire. One gets the job. One does not. The only variable is whether you learned to use the machine. Then he went down the list. Accountant. Hire the one who uses AI. Lawyer. Hire the one who uses AI. Marketing. Supply chain. Sales. Customer service. Every function. Same answer. The person who can command the model does not have an edge. They are the only candidate in the room. Everyone else is applying for a job that no longer exists. Huang: “If you’re a carpenter, if you’re an electrician, go use AI. If I were a farmer, I would absolutely use AI.” That line should demolish every assumption about who this technology is for. This is not a Silicon Valley tool for software engineers. This is infrastructure for anyone who builds anything with their hands or their head. A farmer who uses AI to optimize soil, predict weather, and manage yields is not competing with other farmers. They are operating at a level that used to take an entire department. An electrician who uses AI to model loads, simulate wiring, and quote jobs in seconds does not compete with other electricians. They compete with firms. One person with the model replaces the output of a team without it. That is not a prediction. That is Tuesday. Huang: “Every college student should graduate and be an expert in AI.” Not familiar with it. Not aware of it. Expert. The university system is still training students to execute the work. The market already moved. It wants the person who directs the machine that executes it. Four years of tuition. Thousands of hours of lectures. And if you walk out the door without mastering the one tool that redefines every industry you could enter, you burned all of it. Huang: “I want to see what it could do to elevate my job, so that I could be the innovator to revolutionize this industry myself.” That is the part most people miss. AI does not replace ambition. It multiplies it. The carpenter who learns the model does not lose their craft. They scale it. The pharmacist who learns the model does not become redundant. They become dangerous. One person. Deep skill. Full command of the machine. That used to be called a company. The question is no longer what do you know. It is what can you build with the machine that knows everything. And the people who cannot answer that are not falling behind. They already fell.
