I’m honestly tired of watching people farm quantum fear for clicks, clout, and capital. Every cycle, the same script appears “Bitcoin will be broken.” “Cryptography is dead.” “Sell now.” “Buy my solution.” I’ve looked at this from first principles, and the argument is usually unserious. Bitcoin is a network of humans, nodes, miners, developers, and capital that can adapt. That is the part the fudsters conveniently ignore. Yes, a sufficiently powerful quantum computer could threaten parts of today’s cryptography. But the leap from “quantum may eventually weaken current signatures” to “Bitcoin goes to zero” is pure theater. That’s like saying: A city discovered a bridge weakness, therefore the entire civilization disappears overnight. No. You just reinforce the bridge.
