This is totally untrue. The government scuppered a deal by inserting last-minute clauses into the offer from the RDG and then insisted that there should be no further negotiation.

@RMTunion I see the governments tactic of turning worker against worker is.. erm working! They rely on the thick people to fall for it and to blame the strikers instead of the ones causing the strike in the first place by erosion of T&Cs, pensions, pay while not seeing thru the spin.
