Serious effort from Kildare. Green to give so many frees. Ref didn't help. But genuinely serious team. Season now is about being better against Dublin, learning from Galway, driving into Kilkenny and beating Offaly to stay up. Would be an unreal but very achievable year.

I'm seeing someone I met on hinge, when we moved to WhatsApp she unmatched me but I hadn't saved her number as a contact, now I'm three dates in and can't remember her name but can't check anywhere and it's too late to ask. Might bail because I'm terrified I'll be caught out soon

@SmallerFishGAA Reminded me of Ciaran McManus goal against Laois in 2003. All be it to the other corner.

@SBakerMD I don't disagree with you but I feel Most people would be fine with a paleo/primal style diet where roughly 55% of calories came from high quality meat. I know some outliers would still be there but I think this would be a great start

What will be funny about this is I'll almost certainly get attacked from both ends of the crazy. This is a CASE REPORT. It is not a Norton Approved, RCT with 8.3 billion people. It's a one off. But this is actually where all science starts: an observation. In this case the observation is that in some nearly genetically identical individuals (recombination be damned!) some basic diet and lifestyle interventions improved autism symptoms. Will this "work" for all people, under all circumstances? Well, no....but there are not many situations that are not made better by better diet and lifestyle. @ColmRigney you'd imagine the feel good factor and confidence should help Offaly - but depending on who wins the hindsight analysts will spin it either way

I don't know whether to congratulate Offaly for promoting their win or tell them to calm down 🤣

@thinkingwest Thanks for the penal laws in Ireland which denied the majority of the population in poverty preventing ownership of horses, preventing education in medicine and other professions speaking our own language. Thats before we even start on the famine

The British Empire was, in many ways, a force for good. Nearly everywhere it occupied it: -raised the standard of living -developed infrastructure -promoted education It also single-handedly ended slavery for much of the world…🧵(thread)

The Wicklow/Westmeath was only the 8th time the sides have met in the AISFC. By contrast, the most played Leinster tie is Dublin/Louth (59). The seven lowest played ties in Leinster all involve Kilkenny.

I don't buy this idea that all obese people are helpless slaves to clever fast-food marketing. By pushing that defeatism, it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. Losing weight for the vast majority is not easy, but it is very doable. Apparently controversial to say these days!

@SmallerFishGAA Not really a huge negative but if this becomes a cereep back to the old system then it could over time become a bit of a disaster

Negatives - Delays club season in 2 counties by 1 week. Positives - Football final gets 2 week build up - League champions are not punished by having to play championship the week after league final rte.ie/sport/football…
