@LizzieMarbach DeSantis could have been our POTUS but he dropped out of the race after losing in Iowa and immiedately endorsed (again) "the guy who betrays us on every issue."
FWIW, the 2024 Republican Caucaus in Iowa only had a 15% turnout, to which Trump received roughly 7.6%.

Rush Limbaugh said Sen. Shelley Moore Capito committed the political betrayal of the century. During the height of the Tea Party movement, Capito ran on repealing Obamacare, won the West Virginia Republican Primary, and went on to win the general election.
Once she was elected, she did the EXACT OPPOSITE, voting with Democrats to keep Obamacare in place. That decision has resulted in rising healthcare costs and has left many West Virginians struggling to afford coverage.
Rush Limbaugh pointed to that moment in 2017 as a breaking point for many conservative voters. After years of campaigning on repeal, and after voters delivered Republicans control of the House, Senate, and White House, he argued there were no more excuses. When the vote finally came, Rush explained that only a handful of Republican senators... including Capito.... joined Democrats, blocking repeal and went against the very promises that got them elected.
This upcoming Republican primary, we have an opportunity to hold her accountable. It’s time for a change, and for leadership that delivers on conservative promises.
