You know what’s crazy? The amount of pushback you get by saying you want the economy to be better, you want streets to feel safer, you want to be taxed less, and you want the country to thrive. Isn’t it bizarre to see how many people will attack you with every name they read online once, that 9/10 isn’t even relevant—just to try to shut you up for wanting the country to have a better trajectory for all of us? I can’t wrap my head around it.

It never ended. The payments are secret & it’s the only federal program that doesn’t disclose what each company gets. The government decides who qualifies as a “journalist” to receive the money. 141 news corporations now receive secret federal payments. Media that take the money get better access. Media that don’t are left outside. Now you know why they never ask the hard questions. You’re no longer watching the news, you’re watching the government’s investment ☹️
