This involved a U.S. soldier who allegedly took advantage of his position to profit off of a righteous military operation. Thank you to our agents, Intel teams, and great partners @TheJusticeDept who protected our war fighters. Investigation ongoing.

BREAKING: DOJ announces it has arrested a US Special Forces soldier who took part in the raid that captured Venezuelan dictator Nicolas Maduro after the soldier allegedly pocketed $400,000 by betting more than $30,000 on Maduro’s removal on Polymarket. Name: GANNON KEN VAN DYKE

@cremieuxrecueil Easier to move to a high-trust society and try to protect that rather than try to convert a local one that doesn’t want that.

I would like to live in a high-trust society. The decline of trust is something worth caring about, and reversing it is something worth doing. We should not have to live constantly wondering if we're being lied to or scammed. Trust should be possible again.

You can travel to Italy, but you’ll never be an Italian. You can travel to France but you’ll never be a Frenchman. You can live in Germany but you’ll never be a German. You can pack your bags and live the rest of your life in China or Japan, but you’ll never be Chinese or Japanese. Yet you can come from any one of those countries to the United States of America, and you can still be an American – so long as you work hard, you play by the rules, you make your contributions, wait your turn, pledge allegiance to the flag, and obtain your citizenship.

The bottom 40% pay ZERO taxes yet get the same services, representation and benifits as the top 10% that pay 75% of taxes.  Democrats are retarded, bad at math or both.

@jgebbia Providing free government/taxpayer money that exceed the living standards of 90% of Earth means that 90% of Earth has a financial incentive to come to America. This will bankrupt our country.

It’s amazing that this even needs to be said in 2026, but the collapse of communism was a good thing:

@bscholl The point isn’t for it to succeed. The point is that socialism is a tool for retaliation. People that want to outright destroy life, choose socialism as their weapon. It’s already known to be very effective.

You can now get your blood work at cost. We launched a biomarkers testing platform. I make $0 on it. Blood testing needs to be more accessible. Instead, we wait until we get sick. And in the meantime, companies profit when you’re sick. It's messed up. > get tested > find what needs attention > implement protocols > test again Get ahead of unwelcome surprises.

@johnsummit In the end, @diplo is probably right. We just want good music, and we believe in your talent and discernment as to how to make any variety of tools sing wonderfully. AI-assisted or not: Just make us good music that we want to listen to.

no AI was used on my album and i'm really proud about that fact i wish there's a way to label that on spotify/apple/etc, like organic label on food. i truly fear human made music is gonna be a lost art form in the near future

@thsottiaux Consider adding a Spot-equivalent discount for “scheduled” runs to run within 24-hours at an off-peak time.

With Codex the there is quite the gulf in load between peak and off-peak times, and we would like to achieve more of a smoother traffic pattern as that would be a more optimal use of our compute. We have ideas, but curious what you all think we should do? Would more usage during off-peak and surge multiplier during peak times make sense?

Can a supply chain expert explain how losing 12 tons worth of Kit Kat bars doesn’t affect supply? Are the Kit Kat factories that efficient they can just whip up a new 12 tons worth overnight?

The older I get, the more I realize intelligence is overrated. Intelligent people are more likely to overthink, overplan, and overanalyze. They hide behind motion that doesn't create progress. They fear the judgment of others if they're proven wrong. The truth is that intelligence is abundant. Courage is not. The people you admire are the ones who had the courage to act. They aren’t more talented than you. They aren’t smarter than you. They just took action when you didn’t. I often wonder how many extraordinary people wasted their entire lives waiting for permission that never came. Permission isn't granted. It's taken. You get to tap yourself in whenever you want. You can just do things. Courage beats intelligence.

The inappropriate use of causal language is one of my favorite tells for unserious thinking. It just doesn't even make sense to see associations in a vacuum and to then talk about causes. And yet, it's the norm.

To foreigners visiting Japan: You must realize how dangerous the behavior in this video is. Children are mimicking what adults are doing. What will you do if they get hurt? Don't you understand that this could stop the trains and cause trouble for countless passengers? Please, never do this.
