This is wild! The $SPY $SPX has crossed above or crossed below the 50SMA a total of 20 times since November. That is hard. Straight up.

$SNDK $MU look great here now as they tighten up, holding it’s range and bounce off keys so far… Holding here would be great for a potential continuation to the upside in coming days, will be monitoring the action into the end of day.

Relative weakness today in memory $SNDK $MU $STX $WDC

We’ll see which way the market decides to go on Monday but Uranium $URNM $CCJ look great headed into this week.

I have a confession to make. Last night, after sitting here for a few hours cooking my eggs and thinking through all the factors, weighing the likelihood that this was the actual metals top or not, I decided to cover my shorts in /SIL and /PL. Most of you already know that because I documented it in the tweet referenced. What I didn’t disclose is that I immediately flipped long. The logic was binary. I spent a lot of time trying to make a case for a metals top, and based on the real-time price action and the response to the macro/news flow, I covered. Once I concluded they weren’t going down, the only logical alternative was that they were going to keep going up, so I concentrated most of the recouped capital back into $SIL long. In hindsight, the flip-flopping bias is out of system and not a desirable habit. /PL was the obvious in-system play, and invalidating that due to noise produced out of system is inexcusable, but forgivable, as long as I learn and evolve from it. Still, one thing is certain: the metals short is a pending great opportunity. Based on why I covered last night, I can rest easy that I won’t miss the inevitable correction when it happens, because it won’t be subtle. It won’t be gradual. It won’t be gentle. It’ll be obvious, all of a sudden, and absolutely violent. God speed.
