A lot of people are twisting Jason Schreier’s words, so let’s clear this up. He never said GTA 6 is getting delayed again. What he actually said is that he feels more confident about a late-2026 release than late-2025. That’s not a confirmation, it’s just realistic industry talk. Rockstar has done this before. During RDR2, they were still working on motion capture, animations, and core systems just months before launch. Late development at Rockstar doesn’t mean the game is in trouble, it’s how they polish things. Right now, GTA 6 is reportedly still finishing up content, missions, and main systems, with bug fixing not fully locked in yet. That sounds normal for a game of this scale. They still have around 10 months left. If Rockstar follows a similar pipeline to RDR2, that’s plenty of time to wrap things up. Until Rockstar themselves say otherwise, there’s no confirmed delay. Personally? I’m confident they’ll deliver this November, because the game has already been delayed twice. What do you think? still on track, or another delay incoming? 👀
