@iamtvheadrobot I would believe a Skeem Saam and Generations crossover, hear me out. Khwezi Beauty crosses to that Moroka Agency for a campaign, Koloi moves to Joburg without a place to stay and is housed by Lucy for a day. I'm not saying they must invite me to the writing room but hey. 😂😂

Why did Telenovelas stop doing crossovers? I remember how iconic it was seeing Harriet Khoza in the Dikana mansion with Lindiwe Dikana getting rid of a body. 🙌🏾🔥🔥

Worth remembering that child labour was only specifically outlawed in South Africa in 1998 through the BCEA. That is how recent some of our democratic gains are. We have come from far!!

@NqobileT_ @alizwa_mendy There a book i read on the life of Amahlubi under the Natal Colonial Administration from 1830s to 1870s. The locals were frustrated that Amahlubi were doing well for themselves, and were interested in being cheap labour which became on of many reasons why the Hlubi were desimated

@alizwa_mendy It's the same reason Indians were brought here because South Africans refused to be slaves.

One of my Politics modules actually went into detail about how this theory came to life. It’s something that was done by the colonial government. SAns would unionise and strike but non South Africans wouldn’t so they’d hire them in large numbers because SAns are “lazy” .
Mudzunga@Dzungie007

How do you say foreigners are “more skilled” when South Africans with degrees can’t even find jobs in their own fields? Make it make sense.

This is the same arrogance that brought about Colonialism. The same excuse that colonialist justify bring diseases and disrupting the existing way of life to people who did not ask for it. Leave those people!
✝️🇺🇸 The Intern 🌐🔆@EiratheIntern

The way we treat uncontacted tribes is a crime against humanity. We should be contacting *every* uncontacted tribe and give them modern medicine. Any argument against is just a noble savage fantasy from rich academics.

@EiratheIntern Providing primative people with anything that they can't provide for themselves is profoundly evil when the long-term unforeseen consequences are considered.

@Sim_Cekiso @SibusisoSo63809 @chrisreymond89 The argument is Razo, what willl stop them from what wanting R200000 after you pay them the R100000? What happens when they want 60% of the project fee and they basically don't do anything

My younger brother haven’t been paid a salary for two years now because of this ,he’s a qualified brilliant civil engineer, the company he works for keep getting threats whenever they get a project because inkabi always wants to come and collect protection fee and they’d sometimes end up losing projects, he’s been applying for work but with no luck . The reality in SA , not connection no bread for you .

@ProssiPantsula @GYourstruly Honestly this whole immigration/Naija topic seems Xenophobic to people not on the ground, But we grew on the streets, We knew the corner boys, we knew middle management dealers, 90% were foreigners. Honestly it really changed our CBD, if you compare it to our Primary days

@FLAWmade @GYourstruly The guys capitalize on vulnerability. The lack of intervention from society as a whole has allowed them more power and control simple as that.
