Sad news, our little loaf Violet passed away in my arms at 2 this morning. She had almost two years free from caged horror but sadly got rather poorly at the end and has been living in the human coop. I did all I could for her, she was such a sweetie. #Vegan #FriendsNotFood

It makes me very sad to think about the animals who spend their days in cages, looking out and hoping for someone to save them, only to end up at the slaughterhouse to eventually become a meal for a human. 💔

I ran up to this truck in traffic because I was so appalled. 😔 Hundreds and hundreds of chickens stacked on top of each other exposed to extreme heat. Their journey ends at the slaughterhouse. This is standard practice. 100% legal. No animal deserves this. RT if you agree. ✊
