Important strategy note for DraftKings King of the Dogs 👑 If you have a team in mind, WAIT until just before their tipoff. For example: if 13 seed Troy upsets Nebraska and you already locked in an 11 seed that plays tonight, you were better off just throwing your token away. Waiting until your game’s tipoff allows you to pivot in case an upset happens early in the day. 👊

I see dansby swanson. Sure handed solid to great defender and will have doubles power with around 20 hrs. Perennial 4 war player

I don't think or expect Lombard to be a big time hitter, if you do I think you will be disappointed
BUT I think he can be elite in the field, he just needs to hit .700-.750 and he will be fine

I’d say Spring Training is mostly for pitchers to build up and for young guys to turn some heads. Lombard Jr. struggled, but he had flashes of greatness that get you very excited for the future. He’s still really young and needs some time to keep developing. Patience🙏🏻

I think Lombard Jr.’s defense is getting recognized this spring as a massive strength. His offense has time to improve.

If you've seen George Lombard Jr. play defense this past year, you know he's not getting dethroned as the organization's top prospect this winter. Maybe next summer if his offense doesn't catch up, but he was a 19-year-old to start the year. Excellent glove, a leader on and off the field, and an approach at the plate that could sort itself out over time.

Both Jones and Ohtani have very good oppo power so he’s the right guy to mimic. That said, Ohtani is a generational talent and that’s a tier that very few players reach. The goal is for Jones to become a MLB outfielder first.

@bluelemxnade The issue isnt drafting the player, the issue may be drafting the player, realizing the stagnant growth and not moving off the player. If ORL put Paolo on the market, they could get 5+ 1sts from many different teams but they wont. OKC should move off Jalen Williams, etc

Paolo Theory is the idea that drafting a good-not-great player like a fringe all-star with a top pick could be more detrimental than drafting a bust because said players are disproportionately likely to be overcommitted to by their franchises in team building/cap allocation

People had a go at the Sporting Directors for hiring Rosenior but this is a guy that has been working under them for more than a year. They had first hand info on his work at Strasbourg. That's 100x better than interviewing a stranger.
The benefits of that work at Strasbourg is already benefiting players like Santos and Sarr, with Emegha to come next season.
It's a lot easier now to make decisions on players at Strasbourg. If he says "this guy is good, bring him to Chelsea", please don't argue.
And he actually trusts them because he knows them inside out. It's easier for him to trust Santos and Sarr than it was for Maresca who barely knew them and the same would've happened if we had signed a coach outside BlueCo to replace Maresca.
I always say, let's not be quick to judge because you can't tell until it plays out. So far, Rosenior has been a top signing.

FanDuel TD Jackpot Bonus Bet Projection Model ‼️💰
All year we had $2M Jackpot promos. To get these projections, all I did was multiply the historical data by 2.5x. Tonight is a $6M Jackpot.
Originally I did 3x, but since this is the biggest game of the year, there must be more bettors than a typical TNF game. Hoping 2.5x gets us to some more accurate projections than doing the full 3x.
A few notable overlaps:
Patriots Defense (+900, $953) is buried behind Bobo
Hollins (+450, $428)
The 2 players overlapped in the $4k to $5k range are D'Ernest & Kallerup
Ken Walker will likely hit the high end estimate based on other RB's we've seen in that range.

I collected 1200 touchdown data points from the 2025 regular season to determine how long of a TD we will need to win King of the Endzone 👑
For the sake of a round number, we will assume that there are 10 touchdowns scored today:
26 yard TD: 10% win rate 😬
51 yard TD: 50% win rate 👍
87 yard TD: 90% win rate 😎
This puts into perspective just how unlikely it was for DJ Moore's 25-yard TD to win last week.
Theory: Playoff football = better defenses. Smaller chance that the offense rips off a big one. (this is all regular season data - maybe these are overstatements)

There are 7 games tonight, unfortunately too many players to combine onto one chart.
For anyone that is really conservative, I do expect Luka to be more than $12 (prob $25-$30), so don't let that sway your decision. This is just the highest expected PRA the model has seen, so he is getting a very low projection.
Personally, I would never pick the favorite. But I know some people like taking a "lock", so I wanted to call that out.
